    Where to buy tickets?

Has anyone used DWSavers? With their coupon code, I can get almost $100 off tickets for 4 of us.

    Can you request servers?

After we boarded, we headed for Parrot Cay for lunch. There at the door was our server from our previous cruise 2 years prior! He remembered us (or pretended to) and escorted us to our table. Following lunch, I went to the club where you can change dining and requested him for the remainder of...

    Tortola Excursion Reviews

Here's an alternative we are trying based on reviews at Cruise Critic. We have contacted Patouche tours in Tortola, and for $80 pp including drinks and snacks, personal tour through the Baths and taxi to/from their boat, they catamaran over and approach the Baths from the water. You swim in to...

They can also get chicken fingers, hamburgs, pizza and other stuff on deck 9 before going to the shows, then have dinner after. That's what my boys do (well, without going to the shows).

    Tortola Excursion Reviews

You are correct. There are two ferries that go to Virgin Gorda, and once there, you need to take a taxi to the top of the Baths. My understanding is that it is not in walking distance. We are scheduled to go to the Baths when on our 6/20 cruise, but we have booked with Patouche which...

Answering new questions: Where is your favorite place to eat in WDW? Victoria and Alberts, but we save that for special occasions. Our next favorites are probably Flying Fish or Jiko at AKL. What is the oddest thing you will pack on the trip? Cheer detergent, Downy sheets and a small...

DCL just offered upgrade...you won't believe the price!

Just curious...how long ago did you book it?

DCL just offered upgrade...you won't believe the price!

I asked our TA to find out what DCL's response is to this since their response to the extra $6800 is that it is the current cost to upgrade to a cat 1 (not at our on-board rebooking...with no 10% discount because it is a suite...price). How can a cat 6 to a cat 1 AT CHRISTMAS PRICES be less than...

DCL just offered upgrade...you won't believe the price!

That's still a whole lot less than we are paying for our Cat 3 now. Of course, we have 5 in there and it is June, but nonetheless, I'd be happy to pay only $8K for a cat 3!

DCL just offered upgrade...you won't believe the price!

I agree entirely, John. As a previous poster said, I think they are using us to subsidize the deals they are making in the lower categories to get bodies on board. I want more room, but not at that cost! I have asked our TA to request a detailed pricing so we can understand how they came up...

DCL just offered upgrade...you won't believe the price!

We are currently in a cat 3 (June '09 sailing) and requested DCL let us know if a cat 2 or 1 becomes available. We are a family of 5...DH, me, 2 teenage boys and a 10yo and space becomes an issue. We've been offered upgrades to cat 2 or cat 1 in the past, so expected if one became available that...

    obc

When we transferred, we were given $100 off our cost and a $150 OBC as well as the 10% discount. Note that the 10% discount is only good in Treasure's Ketch, not in Mickey's Mates (unless they've changed this in the past year...on all our cruises to-date with AAA, that's been the policy)...

    what do you order

...that you can order as much as you want in Palo as in the other restaurants. DH and I have always multiple entrees on the menu that we wanted to try. Most of the waiters in Palo are savvy enough to offer you more than one dish. We have been known to try every dish on the menu at Palo...

    Protecting your photos

Either DH or I (or both of us, many times) has a laptop along for the ride. We just slide the pictures up against the laptop and that helps keep the pics flat.

How do you book cat 1-3???

My husband travels a LOT, so he thinks of the suites on DCL as sort of "making up" for not being around as much. He likes to pamper me when we travel. We are a family of 5, with two of the kids being older teenagers. We are in a cat 3 (waitlisted for 1 or 2) on our June Tortolla cruise. We...

We've been with my mother and mother-in-law, but would love to share with my brothers and their families. Enjoy! Liam is in 4th grade, but with an October birthday, he's on the older side. Does Luke play any on-line games? That's where Liam meets new friends these days, it seems. He plays...
