    Disney on broken legs?

Thanks, DekrRini... Doc said getting around shouldn't be a problem, but to avoid rollercoasters...the more intense ones like Rockin Roller coaster (my fav!) and Space Mountain. Anything that might require bracing the leg. I'm not too concerned about other guests, as I'll either be on the...

    Disney on broken legs?

Any idea which ones? Is there somewhere on the main site to find out?

    Disney on broken legs?

The worst possible situation has arisen for my family and the family going with us. I play hockey with my best friend and his wife. This coming Saturday we're on a plane to WDW for the week. A week ago, in a game, I broke my left fibula. As crazy as it may be, this past Friday, my friends...

    Drink Station Etiquette

Exactly why I use my knuckle to press the button!!!!! I also don't wash my hands in the bathrooms; I use a paper towel to open the door, and then use my portable hand sanitizer once I'm out. I'm not a germaphobe, but on the ship...maybe I am a little.

    I want to see dolphins!!

Good luck. It's a crap shoot. I've seen dolphins twice on 2 of my 9 DCL cruises. Right place, right time.

    Just off the Fantasy..phew...tired

Enjoy!!!! BTW...if you don't like your courses at dinner, pick another item. Don't feel compelled to be "stuck" with what you ordered. One thing to remember, they make a ton of those dishes, so it's not like they made that one dish just for you and it's going to waste. Those dishes not...

I sure hope this makes it to the ships

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8VVY-xw-zLE#t=18 I would imagine they're doing something similar to how they get Crush's voice, but to interact with a character like this is very, very cool.

have been wanting to do a DCL trip for a while

Last November was my first on the Fantasy...all previous cruises were on the Magic. I fell in love with the steamed lemon pudding dessert from Enchanted Garden. It's my favorite dessert by far. This year, we started off our cruise in Royal Court, but I asked my sever if he could get...

    Just off the Fantasy..phew...tired

I got off the Fantasy on Oct 12th, and I can tell you that everything the OP said was not an issue on our cruise. The entertainment staff in the Tube were very friendly and lot of fun...including the "skinny guy". I can verify that kids that were "close" in height (less than an inch)...

Differences between coffee from room service vs drink station

Having that awesome coffee from service delivered every morning is the way to go, trust me!

    Cabanas on debarkation morning

We didn't get to Cabana's (last Sat) until about 8:15 and they were going strong still. Had a nice, relaxing breakfast, and walked off the ship at 8:50.

    Excursion questions

I cannot give enough praise to the Doubloon sail n snorkel on St Thomas. Your kids will LOVE it...all pirate themed, great crew that really knows what they're doing. It's only 4 hours. You sail out on a Pirate ship...they even have the kids help raise the sails. Sail out to Turtle Cove...

Differences between coffee from room service vs drink station

I stopped at the store on the way to port and got a peppermint mocha creamer. Kept it in the fridge, and it was bliss every morning...saved a ton vs going to Cove too!

    Another excursion question

Hate to break it to you, but the excursions that your older kids will think are "cool" aren't going to be age appropriate for a 2 year old. I know your pain, I sailed with my daughter when she was 18 months, and again when just turned 3. The onboard nursery is a good option though, to be...

    Palo Dinner Length

If you relax and enjoy your meal, you're looking at a 2 hour dinner. It's awesome!!!! That'll put you out around 930. You'll have plenty of time for the fireworks. They also want everyone at the late seating to attend. You'll be fine.

    Magic October 20 sailing cancelled

I feel so bad for all those parents who are going to have to try to explain this to their little ones. Not much Disney can do though, other than what they're doing...full refund AND a free 5 nighter? That's pretty good customer service, actually.

    Eastern Carribbean

They'll love the Doubloon, and it's not too long so you can also walk around the shops a bit too afterwards, or enjoy the ship with fewer passengers.
