Just a suggestion--if you're concerned about missing a rotational dining room, you can always wait until you board, get your key to the world card, and check your dining room rotation. If the schedule doesn't work, you can cancel your Palo then or maybe try to schedule for a different night.

I had the same issue with our January trip. I couldn't find any Fantasmic dining options for our trip, and I was thinking the same as you. However, last month, they suddenly became available, and there was lots of availability. Maybe they didn't actually open up those reservations until later...

Sad that I never got to see them. I tried to do so a couple of trips ago, but I was with a larger group that wanted to go elsewhere.

When we were on the Fantasy, we enjoyed Sailaway from Meridian, so maybe the 5:00 opening will work for yours as well?

Yes, power-driven vessels making way are required to sound one prolonged blast no more than 2 minutes apart in restricted visibility, if I recall correctly. (Assuming no other special conditions apply--like fishing, towing, etc.) Cool picture!

Is there enough time for you to order them in the individual pouches? That's what I use when I'm traveling. I, like you, would be afraid to risk losing my shakeology powders if I had them packed in baggies...

Our experience was similar to Aura of Foreboding's, except there was only one bus that left at 1100. No other shuttle departures were offered, I believe it's a once-per-day thing.

We'll be sailing on the Wonder on 10/1/2014 with two visits to Castaway Cay.
