Seriously! I took my boys (ages 14, 16, & 17) during FD and it was wonderful. I know that is the only way we were able to afford the trip. :)

My boys (3 teens) and I went to Sci-Fi and loved it. I am totally into the cheeze (yes, so much so that I spell it with a z). We loved the movie previews and even had to look up a few on imdb to make sure they were real movies. Next time we go I want to check out Prime Time!

So what time does FD open up? I'm on the west coast. I have to be to work by 4:30am. Should I take the day off? ;)

We just had a years worth of rain in 5.5 months so hopefully none in July. ;) I love Port Townsend and Whidbey Island.

I am 5'2" and I slept in the pull down bed at Caribbean Beach one night and had no problem with it. One of my kids got sick and they are all giants so I took one for the team. It wasn't bad at all but I tend to not move much when I sleep. :)

I was just moved to POR for a December arrival. I was upgraded to a preferred room. Any suggestions for room requests? I prefer the upper floor and it's me and three teenage boys and no issues walking (they may disagree). I'm all about the quiet though. :) Thanks

We used Karmel last week and had a good experience. Since there were four of us it was cheaper than using the Disneyland Express. The shuttle took about 15 minutes to pick us up after I called. We had one stop at another hotel. On the way back the driver was about 10 minutes early and was...

Tuesday was wonderful in California Adventure. I think it is the best time my boys and I have ever had at an amusement park. We picked up fast passes for Radiator Springs Racers at about 10:30 am for a return time of 3:35 - 4:45 pm. We had about a 10 minute wait for California Screaming...

We stayed at the Red Lion a couple of years ago and took the TS shuttle/bus back two or three times. We had no problem.

Bummer. I'm not sure I will even tell my boys. We are going in November and they love this ride. Maybe I will tell them the night before at the hotel. :)

I took my boys in 2011. At the time they were 13, 11 and 9. We all totally loved it and I thought it was worth the cost of tickets. The trick or treating was great, shorter lines, great decorations. My boys liked the fireworks better than the normal ones they were showing on the weekends...

I would not go to the park on arrival day. My 9 year old was so tired out from excitement and the flight that he only made it a couple of hours before burning out and wanting to go back to the hotel. This year he is 11 and we are just going to get a nice dinner and hang by the pool on arrival...

I am seriously considering this cruise. I have never been on a cruise and I dream about it almost daily. :) I think I would have such a great time with my kids and relaxing for a few days would be so wonderful.

Thank you for all the great suggestions. I can't believe how excited I am about food! Actually, yes I can believe it. I've also been checking out food pics and DRINK pics. I don't know if I can handle waiting over a year for the yumminess. :woohoo: lisa

I'm planning a Dec2013 trip with my boys (15, 13 & 11) and need suggestions on dining (Table & Quick/Counter). They will eat just about anything. Some of their faves are Chinese, sushi, Thai, oh and what teen doesn't love pizza and burgers? Any ideas? Thanks! lisa

I liked sitting on the benches underneath the silly symphony swings. Nice, cool and quiet.
