Question Family of three, one dad and two teenage daughters travelling to DL at the end of the month. As we have never done DLR and only WDW in the past how much spending cash would we need for a 4 day visit for food, souvenirs, etc.? Would 3,000 be plenty or should we budget for more?

We went Labor Day Weekend last year and found the parks to be extremely manageable. Things were a little busy but not to the point of mass chaos and confusion like you see over Xmas or other busy holidays. If you had to choose a holiday to go, Labor Day is the one to pick. It was hot, so we...

Remember that these are only predictions based off of previous years. If you have already planned park days and made ADR's based off of that, I wouldnt change too much. You can still get lots accomplished if you hit RD, get FP+ picked early enough, and try to tour efficiently. I dont know...

Just saw on Disney's site that CRT is closing in January of 2015 and reopening in "Spring" of 2015. Wonder if this is just a planned refurb or a major refurb.

We went last Labor Day weekend and did late EMH at MK. I remember Splash Mountain being down during EMH. From what I understand Splash is always down during late EMH.

We went the 1st week in May back in 2013. It was an awesome time to go. If you can do it I would suggest anytime that kids are in school to be a great time to go.

Looking at 1st week to coincide with Fall break. Possibly doing a land and sea on the Dream. Maybe with some friends of ours...will keep you informed.

Did the price of tickets go up on certain nights? I think they did. 11/30 I thought at one point was 67 not 71 for adults. Is this normal for prices to increase? Will it continue to happen?:confused3

OP, I know what you are saying about Snow White. Every encounter we have ever had at a Character meal has been similar to yours. Very rushed and she almost seemed bothered to do it. Ariel, Belle, and Cinderella have all been awesome!
