Anyone familiar with FLL check in policies?

its for checking luggage. so you can go into the airport, but you can’t check your luggage early. Southwest for instance is 4 hours.

What’s the easiest way to get to MVMCP from Gaylord Palms?

Personally I’d just drive. Gaylord is super close to the parks.

Trying to be mature & convince myself that I can stay off site...

We’ve done both, and honestly i don’t get the it’s too much trouble to drive on and off pproperty, but we love having a car and would probably never stay on property again without one. One time we waited so long to get from typhoon lagoon to the contemporary, never again. This spring we stayed...

Uber into Disney Resort without being a resort guest?

Why not just rent a car?
  6. Spunky946

It seems a rental car may be our best choice...Help if you have any other ideas.

I normally am all off renting a car, but I wouldn’t rent a car just to park it and pay for it.

Post all SW questions concerns, etc. here...

Ok so I have a problem. We are flying to San Juan from Pittsburgh for a cruise over Christams. I was expecting the fares to be high, but there are no wanna get away or wanna get away plus availabl. It’s like they didn’t release them. So we have 4 of us flying, but one is a companion, so we...

So how much time do you devote to planning genie+, LL, and dinner reservations beforehand and while you are there?

We used genie plus from offsite and used individual lighting lane a couple of times. We didn’t have any problems with the app itself and was able to ride a lot. We are not rope drop people, but used late nights at magic kingdom a couple of nights. That coupled with rain at Hollywood that...

    Any recent Gaylord Palms stays?

So we just stayed there in April and imo it was just ok. We didn’t really spend much time at the resort, because we did all Disney. It’s really Close to the parks, just one or two turns, but the Location is the best thing I can say. It’s a huge resort, our room was 1/2 mile from the parking...

Future change to allow strollers on buses (with kids still in them, possibly sleeping)?

Imo it will never happen, and shouldn’t happen. There simply isn’t room on the buses to leave strollers open, especially those big wide double strollers. It’s simply not safe to have people standing and open strollers and ec. You know it’s a rule, so you should plan accordingly, I’d wear the...

    Epcot IG to AKL

Honestly I don’t think the walk to beach club/boardwalk is much shorter then walking to the front. The skyliner to Hollywood may save steps, but will take time because you have to switch lines at Caribbean beach and then you will get a bus. I’d probably just walk to the front and take the bus.

Genie + Why all the hate?

I loved planning the three ahead of time. I liked being able to pick the first three in the same area of the park and stack them. then be able to hop on and grab another one. Usually goof find good ones most of the day. Plus if we wanted to get the same ride over and over again we could. This...

Genie + Why all the hate?

Because it’s limited. You can’t choose your time, you can only book every two hours or after you scan in. Often by 11-12 they are all gone at Hollywood and you can’t reride rides with genie plus. I much preferred fast pass plus. It worked much better. Plus if you are offsite you lose out in...

    March 2022 Car Rental Thread

I have a rental through Costco for budget for 3/31-4/4. It’s been bouncing all over the place. I had it booked in the fall for around $450. It came down a little here and there all the way down to $373. Bounced up and and down, but never lower the last couple of weeks. I just checked and...

Disney with an infant. I know it's not uncommon just need some advice/tip from people with experience.

Our first trip the kids were 4 and 8 months. In a lot of ways that was our easist trip. The baby was the easiest baby. She was happy just being and hanging out in the stroller. We’d just stop to have a bottle or eat. She wasent crawling yet, so she was very happy.
