If you could only pick one ride...

Expedition Everest or ToT or Soarin'. Can't pick just one. DH would pick ToT.

Any one else think HS is way underrated?

On our first trip to DW at the end of September we weren't sure if we were going to have enough time to go to all the parks. I'd put HS as the park we'd skip if we needed to. As it turned out, we were able to spend a whole day at HS. We were very pleasantly surprised by it. While I wouldn't say...

    AAA Diamond Parking Pass

We used one on our trip at the end of September. There was no name or date printed on the pass, only that it was a 2011 pass. I'm not sure I'd pay for one (setting aside the legalities of it), we found the parking to be very hit or miss. Were never able to use it at AK, and the other parks...

Magic for DD First WDW Trip??

"Tinkerbell" visited our hotel room every night after the kids were asleep and left a small Disney gift for them. They LOVED them, and it had the added benefit of reducing the number of souvenir requests while we were there :)

What Will You Never Do At The Parks?

We will never stay at a Deluxe (unless we rent DVC points or can somehow otherwise make it a lot cheaper) - we're the "I just need a bed to sleep in and a shower" type of people. We won't do the Deluxe Dining Plan - way too much time sitting and eating.

How bad is it? . . .Really?

I have multiple piercings in each ear, and the worst part of RnR was the feeling that I was going to lose some of my earrings. I found my ears got pretty bashed around. I did have my head all the way back for the whole ride. The ride itself was quick and fun. You barely notice the inversions...

    Sell me on Epcot!

Epcot is our favorite park too. We have 2 girls, ages 4 and 7. We spent more time at Epcot than any of the other parks on our trip (end of September), and we still didn't feel like we got to see/do everything we might want to. Just explore it and enjoy it. Previous posters have already...

Ride scariness levels? (For wimpy adult)

My daughter hated all those rides, with the exception of Space Mountain which she rated as "awesome". It did seem pretty tame to me.

Animation Academy - share your drawings here :)

So, let's see everyone's artwork from the Animation Academy (c'mon, I know all you crazy DIS folks still have your pics or at least have a photo of the finished product.....) Here's mine. Class was Prince Naveen in frog form.

    We can only do one....

Lion King! We got there about 10 - 15 mins before the show and the seating was just fine.

    Yeti is Back!!

We rode it twice the last week of Sept and had no strobe light either. My daughter still won't believe me that he is there - she didn't see him once. He was dark in the shadows and easy to miss. Still loved the ride!

New Star Tours and Motion Sickness

We all enjoyed the new Star Tours and nobody felt any motion sickness, even my very motion sickness prone daughter.

    If Disney

Toy Story Mania - the only ride we didn't get to ride last week on our first (and likely only for a very long time) trip. We hopped to DHS for our last day but got there too late for Fastpasses and the line was 90 mins long.

Where is the AAA diamond parking?

Lucky you! We were there last week and tried early morning, midday and late afternoon. Never worked once. It was VERY irritating since we'd enter the parking area, take the route to the AAA parking be turned around and then end up back in line for the regular.

Where is the AAA diamond parking?

And don't bother at AK. We were politely rerouted to the the regular parking every single time. Worked great for the other 3 parks.

    Experienced many broken attractions...anyone else

Maelstrom briefly stopped for a bit on 9/29. Just after you back up to the waterfall area and before you go forward. Kept hearing a "We're experiencing techinical problems, please remain seated" message. Didn't last too long. Also, EE on 9/28 had a brief stop too. After you've gone backwards...

    Disney "heart-skip" moments in pictures

Not the best pic quality, but that smile says it all: Enthralled while watching Flights of Wonder: Look at me - I'm a princess! First ride at WDW!

What's it like going to MK on MNSSHP but not staying for party

This was our experience too. We walked onto Splash, BTMRR, Space, Teacups, Dumbo, Small World etc. We only needed to use a FP once for Peter Pan, and we had about a 20 min wait for Pooh.

It's tough to be a bug...

I haven't seen the whole thing, but the stinger left a huge red welt on DH's back. He thought it might even have broken the skin, but I couldn't tell if it had. He's the kind of guy who hobbles around with broken bones and barely complains, and he said the stinger hurt a lot.

AK plan/how would you do it

I like bigjoe13's plan, but I'd also see if there were maybe 2 people who could be Fastpass runners. Send one to EE and one to Dinosaur, then meet up at Safari.
