We stayed in the new studios last week as well. They lack of storage drove my wife nuts. But now that we know it is an issue will be bringing hanging closet organizers on our next visit in the summer. They should help a lot. It has to be better than living out of a suitcase.

Yep, the kids loved the BCV pool. But they seemed to enjoy the rides on the golf carts between the resorts the most. Boardwalk was really great about trying to make it better for guests with kids that wanted to use the slide during the Clown Slide refurb.

True, I was able to book the last week in August 2015 a dedicated two bedroom with no issues at 7 month. At VGF now, the worth extra points for sure!

Room 1320 standard two Bedroom. Extremely happy with view and room. Minor issues, remote not working & and missing cooking utensils. But very clean, the kids loved it, and room was available by noon.

Thanks everyone for the replies and help setting my expectations. We have a 2bd villa booked at VGF, so I can assume we will not get in the room before 4pm. The whole resort is at 99% capacity for the month of August.

We are staying at VGF in late August. Being new to DVC, and this will be our fist stay at a DVC resort. What is the norm for check-in times, is it really 4pm most of the time? Just wondering what people have experienced in the past at the WDW DVC resorts.

We are presently signed up for Disney Transportation from Grand Floridian to the Port. I didn't realize they would pick us up that late. We have a 10:30am boarding time, looks like there is no way will get there by that time. I may change it now. Has anyone used Uber to get from WDW to the port?
