    Allergy Ordering Test

We had dinner last night at ABC Commissary in HS, to see how the new Allergy ordering system worked. It is basically the same procedure, except the cashier did not have to call a manager. The cashier simply handed us the Gluten Free Menu and we placed our order. The cashier entered our order...

I Paid for SW EarlyBird - Now What?

Southwest boards in groups of 30. A1-30 A31-60 B1-30 and so on. As long as you are in the B1-30 group there will still be plenty of seats together. Even B31-60 should be OK since middle seats go last. Buying the early bird pretty much guarantees you will get a low boarding pass, as...

going with 2 young kids in hotel room

Naps - I know there are people that head back to their room for naps, but we have always just let our kids nap in their strollers. For Me, the thought of getting on a bus/car and heading back to the room to watch a kid sleep is not in my vacation plan. Energy- most likely they will be very...

The we loooooove Bonnet Creek thread Part 3

We are staying at Bonnet Creek for this first time in November. I was told that they have special ticket prices. When I called they said they could only tell me those prices in person. I am guessing you have to hear the time share talk, and then they let you know their prices. Is this true...

Disney Do's and Don'ts with a one year old!!!

Each park has a baby center. This is a great place to feed, nap and do other baby things. They are quiet and clean. They have a lot of free helpful items, along with outfits and the like to purchase. Our 1 year old did not like any shows, but all kids are different. We rode It's a small...

    On Line Check In

I have found that the only disadvantage to on-line check in that that you your room is selected before you arrive. You can ask for them to change it, but it is pre-set in your prepared docs.

    Dumb question about PhotoPass

"The first time was a nightmare because over half of the pictures taken never made it to the disc. They tried to find them but could not recover them so I was refunded my money." What a nightmare. How horrible for you. I couldnt imagine if this happened to us. We have done the photopass 4...

    Dumb question about PhotoPass

It is free to the extent that any photographer will give you a photpass card and take pictures at no charge. Then whe you get home, you can buy the photos you want. We usually buy the cd before we leave, to take advantage of the $50 off promo they have. This way we have all of the pcitures...

    I'm Confused

To get the lowest point flights, you do need to book on line. To use points you need to log into your account. So yes, you would have to book each ticket separately. The great thing about SW is that there are no change fees. So when you book with points, it is easy and free to change...

Good places to go on the standard dining plan

To keep your sanity, be careful how many charachter meals you schedule in a row. There is no doubt the little kids will love them, but the bigs ones might get bored. The other issue is that these meals are NOT relaxing. Since the characters rotate to your table it is a mad dash to get food...

I would bring an extra set of clothes and consider the option of changing if it becomes necessary.

Wheel chair + Rain... any drips... I mean TIPS? ;-)

We have not used a w/c, but a tip from avid stroller users. Bring an extra poncho or something similar to cover the w/c if it needs to be left outside.

Best time of year to go

Either go the week right after school ends or the week just before it starts. Most people would want a buffer week or two before having a vacation, also with different start and end dates not as many people will be able to go.
