We are going on Magic Eastern Carribean in April. Do the islands accept Travelers Checks or will the ship cash them? We aren't doing any excursions but I suppose we will need money for souvenirs and food, taxi. I need to read up on what to expect when we dock at the different ports. Thanks.

Thanks. We don't do Palo either or excursions. I thought checking in was just part of the cruise process and maybe getting an earlier port arrival time. I read how everyone scrambles to check in in the middle of the night when their day hits. I just figured I need to also, just wasn't sure why.
