Availability at Jiko popped up today for NYE.

We have booked UK packages from here in OZ several times. Never had any issues at WDW checking in or using the tickets at the parks.

Sanaa is now available to book for NYE - with a special NYE menu - but no details on what that might be, or price. I'm still hanging out for Jiko.

Still waiting for any news re Jiko on NYE. Strange that nothing has been announced.

I've been watching Sanaa and Jiko for 12/31 since 190 days (using my 180+10 with resort reservations) and Disney has never loaded any availability. So no booked out. There is hope - just keep checking until Disney releases them.

Following along for fun. I actually booked our vacation with Free Dining for Jan 2019 last week (UK deal). I can relate to the feeling constantly refreshing the website waiting for the deal to go live. Hope everyone gets what they want once it goes live. Not long to wait now.

We're planning a week in NYC next Christmas before heading to WDW. After reading many reviews, I've had my eye on staying at Hotel Beacon on the Upper West Side. We love that area of NYC. If you were to spend NYE at any Disney resort (no park tickets) which would you choose and why? We are planning a Jan 2019 trip, but may be arriving a bit earlier so are thinking of book a room only for NYE. After new year we'll most likely head to POR.

Just found out that I've been approved to attend a work conference in Orlando in March for a week! Since i'm in town I'm taking a week of annual leave after the conference to visit WDW! I'm normally a super planner - booking rooms 18 months out, dining 180 days our and fast passes 60 days out...

Still waiting for my V&A confirmation number for our November reservation so I can link with MDE. Was told to give it 2 more weeks back on July 6. Have people been getting call backs / emails to confirm?

I'm not sure if we'll have a car yet. We are thinking that we will just order one online form Target / Amazon etc, and have it delivered to the resort a few days before we arrive. It will be cheaper than hiring one from Aulani as we plan to be there for 10 days. Hiring might be a handy service...

I finally got an answer to this from Aulani (took a week for them to get back to me). Thought I'd post the answer here just jn case it's helpful to others in the future. We offer Air mattress (for all room types) $15/day on request, subject to availability.
