When I was there a table next to us was having a birthday and they got the entire section to sing them a happy birthday.

I'm not sure when the "new" ones were installed, but we were at POP less than a year ago and kept drinks, milk, pudding, deli (lunch meat/cheese) all cold. Hope this helps.

We've never had a problem with any type of dairy with their fridges.

It will fit on the door. The doors (at the least the ones I've witnessed) have a spot where it goes all the way up so you can put tall items. Here's the best pic I could find from my travels there:
