US to lift travel ban for foreign air travellers who show proof of vaccination

Sorry for the late reply! Yes, definitely had to get tested before coming home. I know a lot of people go do the free PCR test at the pharmacies, but I was worried about timing so I just ended up paying for a PCR test (same day results) at Fast Test Now. 5 minute Uber ride from Universal (6504...

US to lift travel ban for foreign air travellers who show proof of vaccination

I just got back from a 2 week trip at Universal. During the day it wasn't so bad as the parks were pretty empty (most I waited was maybe 10 minutes in single rider lines) and about 30- 40% of people were wearing masks indoors on rides. However... Horror Nights was a completely different story...

How was your U.S customs experience?

I flew into Toronto for a connecting flight for Orlando on Tuesday, Sept 14th. Arrived in Toronto around 7am. There was barely anyone at US customs. I had my US passport with me so I did get to go through another line, but the regular line looked very quiet too. I was in and out within 7...

Under 12 quarantine upon return to Canada

I work at an immigration law firm have been dealing with hundreds of clients coming into Canada since the pandemic started. The one takeaway is that its the wild west at the borders and airports. Every client is given different information by different officers. Some are told to quarantine, some...

Is your province adopting Nation Truth & Reconciliation Day?

I'm in Quebec and given how racist our leaders are here, I wasn't surprised to see they declined to participate in this.

2 hour layover at Toronto - enough time?

Update - Air Canada cancelled my direct flight from Montreal to Orlando so now I have no choice but to do the layover in Toronto. Fingers crossed everything is on time and ok!

2 hour layover at Toronto - enough time?

Hi everyone! Need some advice for my trip next month - originally I was going to fly direct from Montreal to Orlando, but I would end up landing at 9pm and lose the entire day. Air Canada has a flight from Montreal to Toronto and then to Orlando (landing at 1pm) with a 2 hour layover in Toronto...

    Frustrated with airlines!

Not sure if anyone here has been trying to book flights to Florida, but its driving me nuts! First I booked with Air Canada and literally 2 days later, they change both flights to arrive at 11pm (instead of 11am) and then changed it so there are 2 layovers instead of a direct flight. So I...

    Discrepancy in Bed Quality

After doing the parks all day and HHN at night, I don't care if I'm sleeping on the floor as long as I can get off my feet  I've only stayed at Cabana Bay, but I found the beds quite comfy there!

Tips - cash or credit card?

Thanks everyone! I think I'll bring some cash for tips at the bars and then just use my CC for restaurants.

Tips - cash or credit card?

Hi everyone! I rarely bring cash with me and normally pay for meals with gift cards or credit cards. I'm wondering if I should bring cash for tips at the restaurants or bars instead? I was speaking with a server here (in Canada) who mentioned she prefers cash tips or else they get taxed on them...

    Priority Seating Update?

Would reservations still be required for 1 person or can you sit at the bar? I'm going solo in September so I know things can change by then!

    Third Wave is Here...

I don't understand how they're doing things here in Quebec. I agree with them targeting older people first, but its been at least 2 weeks now that the age was lowered to 60 and there are still a ton of open spots available to book. I don't get why they just don't start opening it to the rest of...

Any Canadians planning a fall 2021 trip?

Ooohhhh that's good to know! I don't know why I remember hearing Biden saying they were implementing 2 week quarantine upon entry. This makes things much easier lol. Now we just need Quebec to speed up the vaccination campaign!

Any Canadians planning a fall 2021 trip?

I'm booked at Universal for a week in Sept 2021. I have US citizenship as well, so I'm not concerned about being let in, but my main concern is whether they will lift the 2 week quarantine period going INTO the US. If that's still in place by September, I'll have to cancel the trip.

    Discounts for Annual Season Pass

Hi everyone! I'm booked for 8 days at Cabana Bay in September. I was looking through my paperwork and it looks like I have the 3 park unlimited ticket, which I believe is $434.51. I'm not planning on doing more than 1 trip a year, but I was looking at options for the annual pass around the same...
