Help - Windsor Hills Rental Homes

I have stayed at Windsor Hills three times. The first and third stay was booked through keys2ourvacation.com (originally found using homeaway.com). The first trip we rented their Platinum Key villa and the third trip we stayed in their Silver Key villa. Both stays were excellent. The pictures on...

    Footwear Question

Good morning, The brand of shoes that I like to wear to Disney World are Merrell. I do usually wear the thong type sandals but Merrell does make one called "Women's Agave 2 Lavish" that gets really good reviews that you may want to look at. Good luck. The shoes that you wear at Disney...

What are your Disney World tips for girls ages 4 and 10?

Please accept my apology for not responding earlier. I haven't checked the boards in the last couple of days. My son has pin traded a couple of times. Prior to going to Disney World I went onto ebay and bought pins to use for trading. I would probably get at least 10 for each person who wants...

What are your Disney World tips for girls ages 4 and 10?

Have you considered pin trading? I think the 10 year old would really enjoy it. An Agent P mission and Pick-A-Pearl in World Showcase at Epcot are two other things the 10 year old might like.

Its a small world after all

I agree with the earlier posters - this is on very lucky exchange student! I'm sure that he will have a wonderful time and hopefully your two sons will enjoy having a "big brother" along on the trip. Maybe if you tell him that there are water ride where he will get very wet and would be...

    “What?! No! That’s Crazy!” Feb 16 - 21, 2014 (Complete)

Looking forward to reading your trip report. I hope no EVCs are needed. My DBiL had to use one our first trip and it was inconvenient. He wouldn't have been able to do the trip without it but it is so much easier to get around without one.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times!

Sounds ominous! You have had such a wonderful trip until this time. I'm almost afraid to read the next post!

Need tips...camera...which to take or not take!?!

I feel your pain. I have a Nikon D7000 and absolutely love the quality of the pictures but it is a pain to carry around the parks. I have taken it for our past two trips and will probably take it on our trip in October but will I will also take a compact camera. I will switch out based on how...

Help! What kinda bag do I use???

I like the Vera Bradley Hipster but is is not waterproof. I will have to try the "Camp-out" spray mentioned earlier in the post. The hipster is big enough to carry all of my essentials (wallet, cell phone, small camera, sun screen, etc.) and I can even throw in some small purchases if necessary...

Which is better Tour Guide Mike or Unofficial Guide?

I used TGM for our first two trips but have switched to Touring Plans for our upcoming trip. I do miss TGM - there was a lot of very good information that made our trip a lot easier. Hopefully since we have been a couple of times we will have a good plan even with all of the changes/additions.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times!

I just found you trip report and am loving it. The extra details that you include make it "your" trip report and those are the ones that I especially enjoy reading. I like reading all the trip reports but ones that are written like yours are truly unique. Your granddaughter is adorable and...

Too expensive to stay on site

My family has only been to Disney a couple of times (3rd time scheduled for the end of May) and we have stayed offsite both times. Being able to spread out and not be cramped is essential for us. On both of our previous visits we stayed at Windsor Hills. It is very convenient for getting to the...

Going to Disney with my sister

One thing she might enjoy is pin trading. You can go online to the Disney Store or ebay (if you want to get them cheaper and probably get some she would be willing to trade) and get a lanyard and a starter set of pins. You can always wait until the first day of the trip to give them to her as a...

    Pin collecting

Pin trading is great fun for kids. My son has done it on two trips at age 10 and 12. A majority of CMs will have either a lanyard around their necks or something that looks like a small black hanging from their belt displaying pins that they trade. All a child (or an adult) needs to do is...
