Just took our first Disney cruise in August on the Dream and loved it! 5 nights was too short though. So we are thinking of doing the 8 night out of NYC or the 7 night Carribbean (either itinerary) out of PC. Any positives for sailing on the Magic vs a brand new ship? Obviously 4000 guests...

I am in the same boat with my 11 year old. I am planning to let him try both. He will probably start with some of the structured activities in the club and then try the tween club. Probably depends on the cruise and your kid and who they make friends with.
