    Food plan

We are going to Disney in May, but spending 2 days at Universal, which is a first for us. I haven't booked that part of the trip yet because I'm not sure about the food portion. I think I'm understanding that if we get the quick service meal plan we can just add that at anytime, but if we are...

New ticket deal: 4-Park Magic Ticket $279

So, has anyone actually verified that you CAN have a discounted room rate and these tickets as well. I've spent hours on hold over the past two days trying to find out this answer, only to be linked to a CM who has no idea, but say "probably not". I was literally on hold for 1 hour 10 minutes...

    Ticket question

Hopefully this makes sense. We are doing two days at Universal. We want park to park for at least one day to do the Harry Potter train. The other day we really don't feel that we need it though, as we feel like we can do one park one day and one the next. Just trying to save some money anywhere...

Why am I up at this crazy hour?

Ok, so my 180 day is tomorrow. I can start at 6 am EST online, correct? And I can book all four days of our trip tomorrow? Anything else I need to know? Should I be thinking about back up restaurants in case I don't get what I want? We are going the first week of May, so I'm not too too worried...

    Be our guest for breakfast

I'm pleased to hear good comments about breakfast. I personally would prefer Mickey Waffles sausage etc as I feel like we would stay fuller since we won't go to Ohana until 7 pm that night. It would be ideal to do that late breafast option, in that case, but I think I prefer to get into the park...

    Beach Club or Port Orleans?

Would you like to give a hint on how to get that deal? I also would like to stay at BC over POR but for $1k savings since we aren't really in our room much it's hard to justify the extra cost.

    Caribbean Beach FAQ part VI

We requested Jamaica 42 and when we checked in last Wed. we got the location, but not the exact building. She said it was because we were requesting 3 rooms together and that they were 98% occupied. (It did not feel near that crowded at the resort!!). Also, I meant to write in my previous...

    Caribbean Beach FAQ part VI

For those that asked about getting to the MK by 8:00 a.m. We waited for a bus to the MK at Jamaica at about 7:30 and we definitely weren't there when they opened the gates. I would think 7 or 715 would be a smarter time to catch a bus, given this is the longest ride to the parks. This also makes...

    Caribbean Beach FAQ part VI

Hi All! Well, like many of you, I spent the days before my trip reading these posts...and getting worried. Refrigerators, busses, long walks....etc. We got back yesterday and had a great trip. We were there Wed-Sun, 9/25-9/29. We stayed in Jamaica (requested) 4443 and had a refrigerator...

Whats your favorite food on DCL?

We were on the Dream the first week of July and my dad, brother, and husband all raved about the veal. They actually said it "was the best piece of meat that they ever had". I didn't find the grill food/salad etc until the last day because my husband usually ran for food while I was with the...

    Reservation question for Palo Brunch/Tea

I just got off the 4 night Dream July 1-5. I had looked online several times for Palo's champagne brunch and couldn't get a reservation. We wanted to send my parents for their 40th anniversary. On day 2 onboard I called Palo and left a message asking for a day 4 brunch reservation, also...

Stroller for one day in MK

Hi! We are going on a five day Disney cruise next weekend, but will be spending one day previous to the cruise in the Magic Kingdom. I have a 5 1/2 year old and a 3 year old. I know that by the end of the day, I will probably need a stroller, but really don't want to lug and push one through...
