    Be Our Guest Dinner Review

I would try for lunchtime if you can, or I think breakfast is still done with no reservation (maybe no grey stuff but at least you can see). I took about 40 photos inside since I knew it would likely be our only time there.

    Everything PhotoPass & Memory Maker

We purchased in advance of our Jan trip, and were pleased with the photos and ride photos, however it does not give me the option to save the VIDEOS- ride or magic shot ones. My 45 days is up on Monday so I’m hoping to find a way to save those as my family will enjoy getting to go back and view...

    Out of Curiosity...

We just did it, it did feel a little weird, but it was nice to change things up. For us, it was literally because our fast passes made it a more logical route

Skip the character dining and meal plans

We just got back last month and did three character meals - DD14 chose Chef Mickeys for breakfast and 1900 Park Fare and Be Our Guest for dinner. So we met the “fab 5” and Beast, plus Cinderella and family. For us, it was a splurge that we viewed as entertainment plus meals, and those days we...

    Be Our Guest Dinner Review

My husband’s was $35 I think, I don’t recall on mine or my daughter’s except they were nearly that as well. The total with tip - because we did do a full 20% - came to $172. It was beautiful and themed so well but also quite noisy, until it began to clear out, and the food was good but not...

    Be Our Guest Dinner Review

Nope, no adult beverages or anything else, just 3 sodas.

    Be Our Guest Dinner Review

If you aren’t sold on meeting Beast, I would do lunch. Cheaper and my understanding is the menu is similar but actually has a better selection than dinner. You’ll still see the castle and have the experience - the service at dinner was no better than at any other table service location.

My review of the Na'vi River Journey ride

Yes, this!!! It was like, “oh there she is...there she goes” - I would have loved the boat to stop there a minute to really feel like I was singing with her and a part of this journey.

My review of the Na'vi River Journey ride

We waited for about 75 min, and honestly- I would not wait longer than maybe 30 minutes. It was very...I hate to say “blah” but sort of. Kind of anti-climatic in a way. A friend compared it to Little Mermaid and that’s sort of how it felt, except without much of a story or anything going on...

    Be Our Guest Dinner Review

Correct, we did 1950, and by 2030 the three dining rooms all had maybe 40 people combined! I’m an amateur photographer and took about 75 shots all around and very few have people in them. Definitely go for the later time for the pics!

Walmart on Old Lake Wilson Rd

We have one about a half hour from us - good fresh burgers and you can get all sorts of toppings! Milkshakes are yummy too, and the prices won’t break the bank. Enjoy your trip- we love Westgate so much we became owners at Towne Center just this past week!

Walmart on Old Lake Wilson Rd

We used this Walmart last week twice during our stay at Westgate Towers - excellent store, tons of Disney merchandise, and the grocery area was very well stocked. They have a Jakes Wayback Burgers inside if you want a quick dinner out cheaply. Traffic off 192 didn’t seem bad - we took Old Lake...

    Flights of Passage Reviews

It stays on the ground - the floor in front drops down though - I was nervous about it and immediately wanted to ride again. It was amazing.

    Be Our Guest Dinner Review

Yes my husband looked at me like, “you can’t be serious” when that cheese plate was set down. And we all LOVE good cheese - but these are all heavily smoked / aged in addition to being tiny. I was waiting for Cinderella’s mice to come nibble!

    Be Our Guest Dinner Review

We are just back from our first trip in seven - yes SEVEN - long years. So I thought I’d head here and post some reviews and share trip info, partly to stave off the post-Disney depression! Anyhoo... Be Our Guest was the 14 yr old Princess’ main request, we were paying OOP so it was one of 3 big...

    POR or POP?

I posted a comment on the Y.E.S. thread but figured I'd ask here too, while I was at it...anyone familiar with the Youth Ed program? We are a homeschooling family and plan to utilize this program (hence the room - only aspect) and the kids are pretty excited about having "school" at WDW!

    Disney Y.E.S. Program

I am new to homeschooling this year and in doing some research, learned that not only does Disney offer homeschooling times but this YES program as well - in pricing it out for my family of 2 adults, a teen and a child, it looks like we will save about $100 per person over a 5 day period AND get...

    POR or POP?

That's exactly my thought! If it means we can "splurge" a little on meals this way, I'm all for it. Heck, all I do is SLEEP and shower in the room anyway. And the kids will love the theming I think, my DD likes themain pool and also having to herself the quiet pools at POR but she'll tell you...

    POR or POP?

I will say, on the most recent trip (this Feb) to POR, I was less than impressed with buses to and from our resort and noticed lots more for the values. With the most recent trip, we didn't even use the hot tub, and in fact only made it to the pool twice. Any thoughts on the POP food court...

    POR or POP?

We are planning a last minute trip for early Feb. with DD (9) and DS (15). DD has stayed on property with us before, DH and I have always stayed at a Moderate and LOVE POR (and have since the days of Dixie Landings!). Trying to determine whether we should try to swing POR or try out POP for a...
