Hi,
We are planning on visiting Legoland in a few weeks, as an add on to our holiday (doing a week in Warwickshire this year as we did a pricey trip to DLP in October) but it is hurting my head trying to work out how best to plan it.
Our options are:
A Wednesday full day visit - no qbots...
There are no characters at Inventions breakfast. Character breakfast is in the park and seems to usually be Mickey, Scrooge, Piglet, Tigger and a few other others?
We are going the 21st October... I hope we won't be disappointed with the theme. My dream themes would be: Orleans (God this would be ace, if it included Dr Facilier); Peter Pan; Alice! I wish we could find out in advance - my manic planning head can't cope not knowing. ;-)
Paid the balance for our October trip today and trying to plan our meals. I'm doing it based on last years Halloween schedule but I know meets/parades etc will be different, but it helps give me some focus for now.
My mum has NO idea we are staying DLH and have premium meal plan. She thinks we...
It is happening - but in the Chapperel theatre. Think that has been confirmed. ED92 also saying no cavalcade and rumours about no special meet and greets!!!
We have paid a premium to go at Halloween, it's costing us almost double what we would usually pay for exactly the same trip in Feb half term. And now I am reading rumours of no Halloween parade, no Halloween decorations except in Frontierland, no villains show...! I really hope these rumours...
I heard rumours that characters will still be there but it will only be available to DLH guests after complaints hotel guests couldn't get booked? Whether this is true or not is another matter.
Stay at the DLH or in one of the club levels at HNY; NPB or SL and you will get one fast pass per person per day, which helps.
Eat at Auberge for guaranteed princess meets which takes away any need to queue at the princess pavillion, you get Cinderella plus 2 other princesses, 1 prince and the...
Our October trip is now booked, and my mam added on to join us. She has never been to Paris, and Rosebug has never been to the city and tonight asked if she could go up the Eiffel Tower, so we were figuring the Monday of our visit heading into the city.
I don't want to get the train. I would...
Merida's castle was based on Urquart (among others) - when we were there R was arguing with her daddy about it - she said it was (it looks very much like it) and he said it wasn't. The woman who worked there said R was right, it was used as inspiration!
It's beautiful...
Have you been to Loch Ness before? When R was 3 she suddenly announced that she wanted to go Nessie spotting. So we booked a glamping pod and a few weeks later headed off, hadn't quite grasped that it was a 7 hour drive! It is an AMAZINGLY beautiful place. R was thrilled to go to Merida's castle!
I do love it! We have stayed there twice and so excited to surprise my mum. I have now told her we have had to book standard room SL. She couldn't care less, but happy to surprise her!
We are booked into our first ever cruise August 18 and I think my 8 yr old girl would love to do the FE thing. What types of gifts go in? She is a crafter and would love to make little bits and bobs, if this is acceptable?
Yes! She is Disney mad, and I have always felt really bad when we have done trips and not invited her along, but hubby has always done the whole "if we invite your mam we should invite mine!" thing - but this time I have managed to get through to him that his mam has holidays, she goes away with...
Yes, basically. However, we just called one last time to try to change the deal, in order to stay at the DLH and managed it! The woman hubby spoke to today was lovely, she had it all sorted in 10 minutes, no admin fee and no problems. Hubby said the second he got through to her he knew it would...
