Hi. I have been around for years and visited the parks a few times. I am moving to the greater Orlando area soon, and I plan to buy an AP. My question is for food, drinks, and merch for those day trips I plan to make, what suggestions can you share?

I haven't bought them. I want to know if that would work before I purchase non-refundable tickets.

I know the rates will be going up with the new Star Wars Land coming next year. Do Disneyland tickets expire? If I bought some this year (hopefully before the rates go up) would they be valid in Fall 2019?

If they are not park-to-park tickets, you would need the extra ticket to enter a park after VB. I would call guest services and ask. You might also check if you can swap the four day ticket to a 3 day park to park, and alleviate your worries.
