I thought the food was very good, and although expensive, comparable to other Disney restaurants, plus the portions were huge. We went for lunch at 11:30 and had no wait at all.

Just wanted to say, I saw the ones the thread starter won and they are the same ones we got from WL last month. But ewwww, I don't see it as much of a savings to drink out of someone elses used mug. :rolleyes:

We were there last month and everything looked fairly newish. I don't see the need for a rehab.

Wenlitz, I am sorry you had such bad mousekeeping service. Our room was impeccable, sheets changed daily and whenever we called for a requerst, it came quickly. The only problem we had was one day we returned to the room around 2 for a rest and it was not cleaned yet. We had to wait til after 4...

We were pleasantly surprised one day with towel rabbits at our stay last month at WL. Also, 6 years, we stayed at AS and had my son's play figures in the window placed there by mousekeeping to welcome us 'home' that was another wonderful surprise.

We also tipped $10 each way :D

I think this was one of the best meals we had! My son and I had the turkey. To the best of my recollection, it was thick slabs of white meat.

Nope, they don't take PS's. First come, first serve. we lucked out and got a table right away for the four of us at 6 pm on a Sunday night!

I just wanted to let houstonmouse know that Ranger Stan was there last month for our flag family. He is a hoot! Such a sweet guy. Just added immensely to the flag family experience.

We brought a collapsible cooler from home. I don't know what it cost. It worked really well and when we went home, we filled it with souveniers and other clothes and checked it on the plane. :up: Extra luggage.

We had an 8:30 PS at H & V last month. We got there a little before 8:30. There was a CM at a podium where you had to check in and she gave you a ticket. I can't remember if you were searched before, but think so. Anyways, there was a separate line for those with PS's. The general admission...

yep, it's the same. The only problem we had at RFC at AK was we did the water ride, Kalahari Falls (?) twice before we went to eat and were soaked all the way through. It was cold in there, so cold all we could think about was getting our food, hurrying up to eat it, paying the bill and getting...

We had a character breakfast there last month and it was great. The characters were wonderful and we got to see them more than once at our table. The food was ok. The fritatta was very good, as were other items, like the Mickey waffles. A large selection to choose from. Good choice!

We were just there and DH and SS had the meatloaf and loved it. I had fried chicken and DS a chicken pasta dish. Excellent! And we had a giant s;mnore for dessert. Our waiter was very nice, but not bossy at all. We were a bit disappointed in that, but not in the food.

I went through DU and had Beth and she was great! I don't know what you mean about giving up control. She made PS's that I requested and did fill out an itinerary for us, but I didn't really use it. But I liked the discounts and the help she provided everytime I had questions.

We just got back and did not have to show ours, but you never know.

I don't know anything about the PBH, but I just came back from the WL and it is a beautiful resort. I was not disappointed.
