    Cheap(ish)hotels

I like the Clarion. It is clean and inexpensive. You walk out the front door and the ART bus stop is right there. Very convenient.

    Das help?

Hi, I use a walker that has a seat on it. That way I can still walk around(no one has to puch me) and I can sit anywhere/anytime I need to. It really is the best. I watched people last week at Disneyland struggling and in so much pain and I know how that feels. The walker makes everything so...

Breakfast with Minnie Large Party Payment

Hey! Has anyone had experience paying for a large party at Breakfast with Minnie? I understand that you pay before you are seated. Can you pay with more than one credit card? Thanks in advance.

Is there a quiet room for special needs?

First Aid is a good choice because it is nicely air conditioned. Also, the area outside of First Aid is usually quiet and shaded.

    Tell me about Storytellers

Storytellers is my favorite Character meal. The brunch is awesome! I love the characters and the chilaquiles are one of my favorite foods. The servers have always been super nice. I totally recommend it!!! :cheer2:

    Hot chocolate at Disneyland?

I know you it's past your trip but I thought I would mention that the cart in front of Magnolia Park(in front of the New Orleans Train Station) has Nestle hot chocolate. I like it, it reminds me of being a kid. Plus it is a nice place to sit and drink it.

    Solo dining at Cafe Orleans

The Monte Cristo is THE BEST Monte Cristo anywhere imo. With that said, it is a very rich and heavy meal. The pommes frites are good but not super special to me. You could go in for early lunch and have the pommes frites and then back for dinner for the Monte Cristo:) If these two items are...

Crowds on Opening Weekend of Food & Wine (and a Question About Blue Bayou Reservations)

Hi, I would call Disney Dining and tell them you are 8+1 high chair. It does matter for space and there are also some areas you can not put a high chair because of fire and safety regulations. Blue Bayou is kinda tight on space so it is better to be safe than sorry.

    How many days

I agree-5 days. You can relax and enjoy the magic instead of just rushing around the whole trip trying to fit it all in.

    Weather in February

We were there last Feb 1-4. We wore a long sleeve t shirts with a Disney short sleeve shirt over it each day and were comfortable day and night. The year before I was there for leap day and had on a long sleeve t shirt, 2 t shirts (bought one and didn't want to carry it) a hoodie and a scarf...

I agree about Matterhorn. I use to love it. I rode it once after the refurb and was done with it. Too much pain:eek:

    Nail services close to Disneyland?

I know the Mandara Spa at Grand Californian is pricey but it is convenient and you do get to use the facilities(Steam/Sauna) beforehand if you want. We had the Foot Ritual in Feb. and it was a nice and relaxing break in a busy day. When we were done we walked right over to the Hearthstone to...

They are not selling them anymore. The lady I spoke to last weekend didn't know if/when they would have new ones.

    verdict on Indy Refurb?

When I rode Indy on Saturday I thought it was the best it has ever been. I first rode it in '97. I feel they did well on the refurb. I rode four times. Boulder worked every time.

    Indy caving in

We were there this past weekend and we noticed that the ceiling does move. It lowers. You have to wait for it to reset to pull again so if someone in front of you gets to it first you won't be able to make it work until it resets.

You know your kids have been to Disneyland a lot when...

When you tell your son you are going to Disneyland without him and he tells you it's ok because you aren't staying on property :rotfl2:

    Premium View Concierge?

We stayed 10th floor concierge premium view. We loved it. Floor to ceiling Windows, view of both parks and DTD. There is a channel that has the fireworks music so when you watch from your room you get the music too. Definitely would stay there again :thumbsup2

If you've stayed at PPH and DLH...

We prefer DLH. It definitely feels more magical to us. With that said, we would stay at PPH if it were what fit the budget.
