Who saw Fantasmic! with FastPass on Fri/Sat & wants to share their thoughts?

Anyone have any updated information on F! FPs? Have there been changes to what has been posted above? I'm a DL first-timer (WDW vet) with only one day at DL visiting Easter Sunday, 4/6 (yes, I know, it will be crazy). There are two F! shows: 9:00pm and 10:45pm, and one fireworks show at 9:25pm...

If in the MK but don't have NOJ ticket...

You didn't ask, but if you can't get there until 4pm on a NoJ night, I would skip it. In my experience, the lines are really low all day until 4pm, when you can enter with a NoJ ticket. Then it gets busy really fast. We left around then and the ferries and monorail were totally packed going to...

    Best Breakfast?

+1! Loved the Wave - it was SO GOOD and the options were a little different than standard (e.g. instead of regular pancakes, sweet potato pancakes with maple-pecan butter; instead of regular Mickey waffles, multigrain Mickey waffles). Also, I think $20 for a breakfast buffet is pretty good :)

what to eat @ BoG for lunch?

I tried the potato leek soup, braised pork (DH), Nicoise salad (me), and a lemon cupcake for dessert. The potato leek soup was AMAZING. I would absolutely get it again! We both really enjoyed our entrees (though not as much as the soup, haha) - the only thing is I wish the poached egg in the...

BOG Lunch - Slow Cooked Pork

I did not find the pork mushy at all, but it does fall off the bone in large shreds :cloud9: It was delicious!

What is Wishes like from Ohana?

I had dinner there 5/3/13 and can confirm they are still dimming the lights and piping the music in :)

    Non-Character Breakfast Buffets??

Don't forget The Wave at the Contemporary! I had a great breakfast buffet meal there a few weeks ago. Hello sweet potato pancakes with maple-pecan butter, multigrain Mickey waffles, and cheese-bacon grits - yum!

MK daytime during "Night of Joy"

I agree with Greengirl and Brockash! I was at MK during the day on NoJ 2011 and it was so quiet until 4pm. We got to ride all of our favorites multiple times! Highly recommended if you're willing to make it an early day/you have hoppers.

What is Wishes like from Ohana?

They do pipe in the music and dim the lights. However, there are only so many tables that actually have a good view of the fireworks due to the struts outside. I did it once, but I don't know if I'd do it again. In my opinion, I'd go around 7:00/7:30pm and then go down to the beach, but it was...

Best kept secret sandwiches and salads????

Another vote for Capt. Cooks! They also have a "grown-up grilled cheese" with three kinds of cheese on that same delicious multigrain bread. So good!

Which Fantasyland atttractions would you FP?

I wanted to second this itinerary, with one change - get your Peter Pan FP on the way to Enchanted Tales. That is basically the same itinerary I did when I only had a half day in MK and wanted to hit all my favorites/new things. We followed it with Little Mermaid, Space FP, ride PP, and then...

Night of Joy MK for nom-event guests ??

I can confirm #2 and #3 from mesaboy. All the rides will be open during the day and I don't remember anything being closed off (at least, nothing that inconvenienced us) in 2011. Crowds were also REALLY low until 4pm! We did all of our favorite rides several times. I would recommend planning on...

    Inside of BOG cupcake pics

Yep. It was definitely normal cake. However, we tried and failed to get the wrapper off, so it might be easier to just leave it on.

    BOG lunch - wait times

I ate at BOG lunch on 5/4. We got in line around 1:45pm as a party of two, and the CM was saying it would be an hour and fifteen minutes! We then heard someone else say it would be 45mins and decided to stick it out. It ended up taking more like 30mins. We enjoyed our food and the atmosphere a...

    Ohana dumplings and wings

I believe that the wings at Kona Cafe are fairly similar (but not identical).

One more TS Breakfast needed. Suggestions?

I loved The Wave's breakfast buffet! It's not a character meal but it was really relaxing and delicious  They had sweet pototo pancakes with maple-pecan butter, multigrain Mickey waffles, and bacon cheese grits, among other options... yummmmm!

Main Street Bakery Cinnamon Rolls - can we still get them?

+1. Thank you for doing that so I didn't have to.

    BOG lunch suggestions?

I was there recently and tried the Nicoise salad, the braised pork, the potato and leek soup, and the lemon meringue cupcake. Everything was really, really good - especially the soup and the cupcake! Highly recommended. I just wish they could give you the egg "normal" poached instead of hard...

How has the BOG lunch wait been lately?

I was there on May 4th. We got in line around 1pm, and the CM said it would be 45-60mins. It actually ended up being more like 30-35mins (we got our food around 45). We could have sat in any of the three rooms but choose to sit in the West Wing and it was awesome!

    Help with dining plans?

You also could do an early lunch at Sci-Fi and a late-ish dinner at 50s Prime Time on Day 5! Those are both really fun places to eat.
