Which rides did you feel were a total let down after waiting in line?

Haven't been able to see Carsland yet, and won't probably until around May. But I know I will be in the minority here, for me it's Indy. I never went on it for years because I didn't like the idea of being jerked around that much. But I did go on Dinosaur in WDW a few years back, and really...

    At Paradise Pier Hotel now....construction?

For what ya pay for these hotels they should have just had Tinkerbell zap the work done. ;) It is Disney magic after all! But all kidding aside, they do have to keep the place up. Otherwise it will look bad and no one will be wanting to spend that kind of money to stay there. We actually came...

    Hojo-noisy?

I wouldn't stay in building 1 again. It was quite noisy. We had noise from the street next to the hotel. As well as some freeway noise (we were on the end of the building, facing DL). There also was a lot of noise from people in the hallway. As someone else said people sure do talk loud and yell...

    Castle Inn?

We haven't stayed there since 2005. So not too sure if things have improved since then. I certainly hope so. Our room wasn't very clean. The cable was out for 3 of the 5 days we stayed. When we arrived the water also wasn't working, but that was only for the first few hours. We found the people...

Breakfast at the River Belle Terrace (with photos)

Our favorite breakfast spot. My favorite is the Steamboat, never knew you could ask for a Mickey Steamboat! Will have to do that next time. Great pictures!

Decor at PP Hotel. Retro Charm or Reminder of Failure?

For the most part that's true. But I think a lot of those rooms in the back at GCH are probably about as long of a walk. We stayed PPH in May, and really liked it. The walk wasn't nearly as bad as I was worried about. Yes out of the 3 hotels is last in "resort" feel. I actually like the art...

Will you now buy an extra ticket or go elsewhere?

5 day tickets have always been enough for us. Usually 4 days is even enough. So it won't be an issue for us. It's still cheaper then Disneyworld only because of the plane tickets for us to fly.

POLL: Is it okay to join your party in line?

Most of the time people seem to want to push their way through when their party is way up at the front of the line (surprise, surprise). Usually the lines seem to get more narrow as you go. So naturally there is some being shoved up against the ropes and wall. Now it would be nice if they could...

CCI vs Tropicana Inn for 1st timers

We've only stayed at the Tropicana, and really like it. The location is great, the room was clean. We could see fireworks from our room on the top floor. Weak breakfast, but hey it's free.

POLL: Is it okay to join your party in line?

This was exactly my point. No matter how polite someone is trying to be, there simply just not enough room in a lot of those lines for someone to get past. Without being pushed up against the wall or ropes, stepped on or worse. I'm not saying people do it on purpose. But it happens anyway...

IF Staying at Park Vue Inn (PVI) You May Want To Read This

Eeek!! This is why tear the room apart looking for bedbugs when we arrive. Just gross! Do what you can to not bring these buggers home. They are near impossible, and so expensive to get rid of in the house. We always stay at the Tropicana. We like it, never had bugs most importantly! And like I...

POLL: Is it okay to join your party in line?

Unfortunately a good portion of the lines don't have a lot of room for one person to be standing in a spot, and then have 2-3 people come shoving their way through the same area. Doesn't matter if they say excuse me or not. Being shoved up against the wall, or the ropes so that people can get by...

POLL: Is it okay to join your party in line?

All little kids are wiggly and full of energy. Imagine if every parent decided they could cut back in at the last second. :sad2: Even at the age of 2 my son stood in line. We kept him entertained with snacks and little toys that I'd have in my bag. If we could do that, so can everyone else. If...

Got harassed twice yesterday about expired fastpasses

In general I get annoyed how the rules depend on the CM. We've had this happen with a few things (particularly when we had someone in a wheel chair with us). I have no problem with following the rules, but don't act upset with customers about the rules when it's something that is usually...

Why don't they offer kids meals at the Big Thunder Ranch BBQ??

Same here. My hubby is a very picky eater, so I was determined to make sure our son would eat a variety of foods. He's still picky on somethings. But was never just the pizza and nugget type only. He hardly ever wanted anything off of the kids menus. But I realize all kids are different. In...

HoJo discount rates - BIG CHANGES!!

We stayed there once, in a DL view room in building one (which was a view of trees more then anything). We did get the Entertainment rate. Honestly we left there scratching our heads as to why so many people love it there. It was loud. The halls being enclosed just meant the screams from kids...

    Club 33

We got very lucky in that my husband had a work associate, that's company was a member. We got to eat there twice for lunch. The first time it was just my husband and I. I wanted to make sure I was able to take it all in. From the glass elevator, to the art work and seeing all the rooms. Even...

Would you believe it? A Disneyland trip with no Disney magic...

Oh that must have been torture being so close to Cars Land, yet so far! Glad to hear you are feeling better. I have some health problems myself, and it's always my worst fear that they will flare up while at DLR. Not only to ruin a vacation, but I'm not sure how well my insurance would fare out...

"Protest is planned for Noon on both Sat and Sun" - Al Lutz

I'm sorry but those things are just NOT okay. Doesn't sound like they are being civil and peaceful after reading that. Sickening. If people want to protest, fine. But I don't think the DLR is an appropriate place to do so. The city and police should shut them down.

    PPH queston

We did in May. We had a really nice view of the pool. It was fun watching the kids go down the water slide. Of course we would have rather had a park view! But we were okay with what we had, the rooms are nice.
