Is there an easier way to book Dining reservations?

Sorry, just seeing this. There is no charge for using the service at all -- there isn't even a requirement that you use your Visa to ultimately pay for it. It is really a distinct service entirely.

    Benefits for US Passholders?

OK, that's what I figured, but nothing ventured, nothing gained, I suppose. Thanks for the response.

    Benefits for US Passholders?

Hey, I'll be making my first trip to Disneyland Paris in a couple of weeks. I am a DVC Member, and I also hold Annual Passes at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Are there any benefits/discounts to having any of those at the Paris resort? Thanks!

Is there an easier way to book Dining reservations?

Another option, if you have one of the Visa Signature cards that include a concierge service, is to have them make the reservation for you. I always thought it was a silly service, because why would I bother to call someone to make a reservation for me when I could just do it myself, but it...

Which DLRP Attractions Are Identical to WDW/DLR Attractions?

thanks for the response! How intense is the Nemo Coaster? My wife's thrill tolerance is right around the Mine Train zone -- is it more intense than that? Also, did you try Bistrot Chez Remy? We're looking forward to giving that a go...

Which DLRP Attractions Are Identical to WDW/DLR Attractions?

My wife and I will be heading to DLRP for the first time in a couple of months. We have both been to both Disneyland and WDW several times, and long story short, I'll be at DLR the week before our trip, and we'll be hitting WDW on the tail end of our trip to Paris. Accordingly, if something is...

    FP+ (No More Paper Fastpasses)

I am a WDW person that occasionally goes to DLR, and while I love the old school FP system at DLR, actually carrying around little slips of paper seems archaic now that I'm used to the WDW system. Sounds like a positive change, especially if it is accompanied by free wifi in the parks.

    Eating Healthy at Disneyland

Thanks to everyone for the ideas, I had not thought about kids meals, that might be a good option! The good news is that I'm at Disney parks with enough frequency that there's no sense of, "this will be my only chance to experience Mickey beignets," or anything like that, and it's a solo trip...

    Eating Healthy at Disneyland

Thanks for the input. I would say that I'm looking to focus upon limiting carbs and fried foods, and eating more lean protein. Ultimately, though, my primary concern is added sugar and total calories. A day at Disneyland is active enough that something that isn't completely on point isn't...

    Eating Healthy at Disneyland

Will be at Disneyland later this week at a time when I'm trying to eat well and lose some weight. I am an AP holder and am generally familiar with the parks, but I've never been before with an eye towards healthy eating. Any tips on locations where a person could find some lower calorie dining...

    *** The Official August 2016 Thread! ***

Hey all, just booked a quick trip August 5-8. Staying at the Swolphin, just my wife and I, primarily going to check out the new stuff at AK and the new version of Soarin'...

Day vs. Night for In-park Interactive Games

We're planning to take in some of the in-park games on our next trip -- Phineas & Ferb, Pirate's Adventure, Wilderness Explorers, etc. Do any of you have any opinions on whether they lend themselves more to being experienced in the evening or during the day? I guess for WE, we don't really...

Using Uber to get to Disney Spring?

Have not done this particular route, but I've used Uber extensively around WDW, and it works like a champ. Cheaper than a cab, and I feel much more in control of my situation than waiting for a bus or cab.

    Statues at Yak & Yeti

Random question for you all -- there are several statues of warriors, deities and/or creatures positioned around Yak & Yeti. I asked someone about them once and they told me they were authentic and indicated what exactly they were intended to be, but I don't recall what they said. Can anyone help?

Test Track Single Rider & FP Lines

I know the policy has changed a bit on this since TT 2.0 launched. For anyone that has been to Epcot recently, what is the latest and greatest on whether FP and/or Single riders get to design their cars along with everyone else?

Is anyone really excited about Avatar Land?

This pretty much sums up my take on it. I've seen the movie and I thought it was visually stunning, but the story was just meh. I could honestly care less about it from that standpoint. That said, it creates a great palette for the imagineers to pull from, and I expect it to look great, even...

Who wants Off Kilter to return to the Canadian Pavilion Stage?

I enjoyed Off Kilter, but i think the biggest mistake that Disney made with them and the other long-time acts that they let go fairly recently was keeping them on so long that people expected them to be there forever. If I had my way, they'd recycle all of these acts every year, maybe every...

    How to handle the rain

Just remember that when you are looking at a forecast, they are trying to capture a lot of information in an abbreviated fashion, so if it's going to rain at all over the course of a 24 hour period, it's going to show rain in the forecast. Of course, it rains just about every day in Florida in...

Transportation Options from Disney to Universal/IOA

The first post ought to be updated to reflect Uber as an option. In my mind, it's also the best option, and it's not a close call.

    Does anyone just "wing it"

We always do a lot of planning, but the truth is that when we get to the parks, we more or less wing it a lot of the time -- I think we enjoy the process of planning a trip more than we like actually following the plan to the letter. With that said, "winging it" for someone that has never been...
