Things I learned today about bank routing numbers

The numbers on the checks and deposit slips are sometimes different sometimes the same. It varies by financial institution. But yes, you should use the routing number on the checks - it’s like the “address” of your bank so other banks can get your money to them for your account. Some financial...

    New lenses for old glasses?

Our vision insurance will cover new lenses each year but new frames only every other year. My husband just had new lenses put into existing lenses. It was the same place he originally purchased from.

    I just learned today...

I wonder if a contributor to the increase is due to passport requirements to travel to Canada and Mexico where previously US citizens didn’t need one.

First Time Cruisers - Advice Needed SMALL UPDATE POST 39

That looks so nice! In my opinion/experience we would prefer to do Key West as a first stop instead of a last stop. On one cruise where Key West was last, there was a huge delay in everyone allowed off the ship as not everyone would report to customs. (Since Key West was our return point to the US.)

Anyone else get “scammed” by the State department?

We “renewed” DD16 passport in August this year. Both of us parents were not required to be at the appointment, so it was just her and me.

I absolutely love Rao’s sauce. BUT all this talk about Mid’s has really piqued my interest. I just checked and our local large grocery store carries a selection of it. It’s on my list to check out!

    Spring Break Savannah

My family (me, DH, and DD16) is thinking of visiting Savannah over spring break. We’ve never been but is someplace we have been interested in going to. Any thoughts, advice, suggestions on where to stay, what to do or stay away from? Also, is there any big benefit in staying in the historic...

    Soooo stirfry

We like this sauce quite a bit. https://www.simplywhisked.com/orange-pork-stir-fry/ (it should take you straight to a sauce recipe, which strangely has no orange in it…) I’ll use soy or Tamari or even teriyaki if that’s what’s in the house. We made stir fry for supper tonight, actually.

FYI, passports are taking between 5-6 months right now

I took my DD16 to the post office on 7/19 to submit her passport application with expedited service. We received it back in the mail today, 8/12. So just 25 days start to end.
