My take on Disney sushi.
My DW and I have had sushi at CG (new and old), Wolfgang's, Tokyo Dining. CG is excellent as far as the tuna 4 ways goes. But their selection is extremely limited. Wolfgang's is pretty decent with a decent selection. We recently (a few weeks ago) finally tried Tokyo...

Not that I dislike any of them, but some are just more fun to visit repeatadly than others.
The ship will not change time. It will stay on EST for the entire cruise.
For ships sailing in the Caribbean (eastern or western) we have not experienced a time change.
We bring 2. One nice DSLR and before our last cruise we bought a nice waterproof camera (Lumix I think) for anything having to do with beaches or snorkeling. Makes a big difference having that one available.
Thanks for the thoughts! It will be 5 weeks this Sunday since I broke my collarbone. I'm still wearing a sling (figure 8 sling that goes around my shoulders). Everyday is an improvement. It is in the healing process and, although I won't be 100%, we are looking forward to a great cruise. We had...
!!!! I broke my collar bone on Sunday. Seeing an orthopedic doctor on Monday to see what my recovery options are. Hoping, hopihg, hoping that i will be good enough to be able to fly and take the cruise. Can't even imagine sleeping in a bed right now. Will at the least need to change a couple of...
Although there were several years between the two, my DW and I have been to both Castaway Cay and Coco Cay. In both cases, we stayed on the island all day, so tendering wasn't an issue (although being able to just walk off the ship is a definite plus).
Activities: Both had a great list of...
Time is going quick! Don't forget that since you are in Texas and on Central time, you can start booking excursions at 11:00PM your time if you are concerned about getting what you want.
Chad.
Since we are coming from California, we wanted to be sure about getting there without any flight issues. At least we get to take advantage of it and spend a night in Galveston and leasurely make our way to the ship in the morning.
We're flying in a day early and I just booked a room at the Galveston Hilton. Apparently Rain Forest Cafe is right next door and they have shuttles to the cruise terminal.
Those sound pretty good. I hope you get what you want. We went to Cozumel and Grand Cayman last October on the Magic, but we did the X-rails in Cozumel (awesome!!!! I have pictures if anyone is interested) and a catamaran and snorkle with stingrays in Grand Cayman that was very good.
We had...
We just made all of our excursion reservations as well as dinner and brunch reservations for Palo! Can't wait to go! Here are our activities that we've reserved:
Grand Cayman: Island Tour and Snorkeling with Stingrays
Costa Maya: ATV, Jungle & Beach Adventure
Cozumel: Mexican Cuisine...
We did our 1st Disney cruise last October and got all the excursions we wanted. My suggestion is save all of your favorites ahead of time and get on at midnight on 7/30. I highly doubt the ship is full enough to be an issue. Good luck!
DCL does have an option for transfers, but the website doesn't offer any details at all on the specifics. Guess I'll have to call them to see what the options are. Or perhaps Dreams Unlimited knows of some different options as well.
We will be flying out the day before since we are coming...
