Have you looked at upgrading to the DDP for your whole stay? For our family of four, it was less to upgrade from the free QSDP to the DDP than what one TS meal cost.

Yep, I do. My dh and I both do. We recently decided that it's time for us to move on, so he's begun applying for transfers in places we'd like to live. We've got our fingers crossed that something comes from that :)

Target has some great handheld misters in their dollar section (only these are the $2.50 part of it) they aren't fans, but they don't require batteries. They are bottom pumped and they throw out some super fine mist. Great for cooling off :)
