just got this fantasy room 2048 assigned on a GTY basis so I was bumping this to see if anyone had anything to share!

it's a 2 night/3 day sail out into the ocean and turn around, weekend getaway out of san diego.

If anyone has sailed one of these, what can you expect in terms of shows, classes, etc.? I thought a 5 day cruise was too short and can't imagine a 2 night one, but wanted to know what they offered and how to maximize your limited time.

he was on the thanksgiving cruise on the wonder last year. he had a few photo opp times throughout the week.

on our last cruise, a table near us got crab legs and steamed white rice served to them nearly every night. do you have to make a special request for something like that? for anyone who has made such a request, do you have to pay extra for that?

we have two boys (7/11--ha ha, as in the mini mart) and have never been to either island so was hoping people might have reviews/suggestions of dcl or non-dcl excursions/ttd in those ports.

My family (me, DH, DS7, & DS11) and I have finally decided to sail on this cruise, was considering changing to next year but the prices are so much higher. I thought I was paying a premium to cruise at Thanksgiving, but paled in comparison to prices for next year so we are PIF now and counting...

Any suggestions for what to do/people have done after you disembark? We have a night flight out of Houston and looking for something to do with a family of a wide range of ages-- 6 to 91!
