Another cruise tragedy . . . NOT Disney

It is definitely not limited to other cruise lines.....my two nephews(both underage at the time) were both served alcohol on our DCL cruise in APril of 2003!!

Has anyone done the curise with Food allergies?

I also have an allergy to mushrooms and on our first two DCL cruises had no problems. However, on our last DCL cruise in April 2005, I told my waiter about it and for the first few nights had no problems. Then one night my meal came out covered in mushrooms.......when I told him he was...

DCL vs Royal Carribbean- which is better for teens?

We have gone on 3 Disney cruises with our two teens (now 17 and 14). Went just last year and both are begging to back again. We cruised with several other families from home who had kids around my girls ages so they had "built in friends" but would go without their friends too as there are so...

On our first cruise in April 2002 we had Dally(server) and Sudama (asst server) and they were wonderful...set a very high standard for the ones to follow. Second cruise in April 2003 we had Gemma(server) and Andras (asst server) who were also fantastic. Third cruise in April 2005......ugh...

They did not this past April when we did our cruise. But it is cheap and easy enough to eat at one of the food court place in the airport

    Crew Talent Show

We saw this back on our cruise in April and there were only about 30 people in the pub (where it was held on our cruise). Several of the CM's invited my dd (16) and her friend (17)...they came in with us with no questions asked and had a blast. It was a very funny show...we all laughed so hard!

Food & Service - Anyone else disappointed?

We cruised this past April 23 and it was by far the worst servers out of three DCL cruises. These two guys obviously did not like one another (we could see them arguing) and just could not get it together. The assistant server was very nice and could have been good but the server just gave him...

    Cruise Staff

Doug...I told my daughters you were here in NH and they were so excited! We were on the Magic this past April with several other families....our daughters (there were 8 of them aged 11-17) were the ones (you may or may not remember) who were singing Happy Birthday to you!!! They all thought...

    Anyone famous on your cruise?

On our cruise this past April we had Rena Sofer who used to be on General Hospital and was on Blind Justice. Only saw her the last day in the elevator but she was absolutely gorgeous!

    Staterooms 7040/42 and 7540/42

Brandi...we had 7040 and our good friends had 7042 on our last Magic cruise in April. These rooms were great. Close to the elevators and stairs but no noise problems. There was a queen and twin with the upper bunk pull down in both rooms. The verandahs were the clear plexiglass kind. Our...

What (if anything) did you not like about the 7-Western on the Magic?

Yogibigdog....i have done the Eastern once and the Western twice. My preference would be the Eastern (we only did the second western because it was what fell on our April vacation). I loved the extra day at sea on the Eastern...no other reason!

    Teens on Cruise

We cruised in April with 8 girls between the ages of 13 and 17 and did not have any problems. They hung out togehter in the Stack or around the ship dancing, swimmimg, etc. We did not use 2 way radios and really felt like we had a handle on what they were doing!!

Shipwreck Cove Snorkel Tour in St Maarten

Julie...we did this tour on our first DCL cruise in 2001 and did not care for it. The water was very murky, what fish we did see were not very colorful. I probably would not do this excursion again.

Cruise Staff on The Disney Magic Cruise, Who did you like best?

Yes, that was them and my dd is the one with the red hair!! How funny.....they were dancing everywhere and just had a great time. They all met about 5 years ago playing AAU basketball and they get along great as do all of us parents. This was our 3rd DCL cruise all together and we hope there...

Cruise Staff on The Disney Magic Cruise, Who did you like best?

We were also on the Western 4/23 cruise and my teenaged dd's (and our friends dd's) were crazy about DJ Pike, Travis, Craig, Casey and one other whose name I forget. My 16yo and her 17yo friend were so excited because one of them invited the girls to Diversions for the last night comedy show...
