Worried about All Star Sport Resort reservation

I have not had any issue with preferred rooms. They book it automatically when you make your reservation. They ask if you want a preferred or standard room. However, sometimes if you ask for a specific section, they say they cannot guarantee it. I would get to the hotel as soon as possible...

Ever return to a resort after a bad stay?

My mom and I just stayed at the ASMusic in November. We also heard our neighbors toilet flushing and people urinating. It really bothered me while I was there and when I got home. How can a hotel be like this if it's Disney!! It seems as the new hotels are built, they are being built...

    Fireworks visible from CBR??

When we stayed in Aruba, we had a great view of the fireworks. We had a room right on the lagoon/beach in Aruba. Beautiful fireworks every night!! We took a lot of pictures. Enjoy your trip!!

    Room only with D/C discount

Actually, the Disney Club expires in 12/31/03, no matter if your card states a date after that. My card says "expires 4/04", but actually expires 12/31/03. You had to renew your membership before 12/31/02 if your card expired before your 2003 vacation date.

    Epcot resorts

My husband and I loved the CBR. We stayed there for our honeymoon. Request Aruba...it has the longest beach and is more adult oriented than the others. We were also able to see the fireworks from Epcot. It may be a longer walk to the food court, but who cares, the ambiance is wonderful. If...

    Pick your favorite All-Star!

We loved All Star Music. It was more adult oriented. However, wherever you stay at the All Stars will be fun. Never thought I would stay in a value resort, but it's worth it!!:smooth: :smooth:

    All Star Movies Honeymoon

I hear the Love Bug section in the All Stars is pretty good. The Fantasia section is also the preferred building. This means $10 more per night and being closer to the food court, bus stop, etc. If you would like more of an adult population, say at the All Star Music. I stayed in Calypso...

    Polynesian Rate for the fall

I vote for the CBR. I believe it is more child oriented. Polynesian gives me the feel of romance and honeymooning. CBR has several pools to choose from, beaches with playgrounds, on site boat and bike rentals, video game room and child friendly meals at the food court. I stayed there with my...

Am I making a big mistake staying at the All Star Resort to save some $$$?

Sorry, I am new to all this. I just became a DC member this past week. Haven't seen any new codes. Help?!? The only one on the website is for a package and I am doing everything separately. Can you help me out with any new codes that came up? Also what is the A/P rate? Thanks!

Going in Sept. will I ?

Booked All Star Music for Sept 7-14 and got $68 including tax. Just bought the DC card. Saved us $120 bucks off our room even though the card cost $32. It already paid for itself!! Just an idea to think about!

Ok, if I join the DC tonight, how soon can I book a room with DC discounts? Tonight?

Help!! Where did you find the discount rate for AKL? Can't find much on DC website!!

Where to stay with 6yo and 5 mo

I would recommend the CBR. I stayed there with my sister, brother-in-law, and their 4 year old son. He loved playing on the beaches and playgrounds. It gave him a time to play and us a time to recooperate from the long day. The bus stops are not far from the hotel room, however, there are...

Trip to Chicago - Need Help

I always recommend Embassy Suites in Downers Grove. It is around the Oak Brook area and right across the street from Yorktown Mall. There are several restaurants in the area. I have gotten the room for 109 per night. This includes free open bar for 2 hours per night and made to order...

    Advice for a September trip?

Definitely stick with CBR. Aruba is also a nice area. Martinique is close to the food court, but Aruba is more peaceful. Don't believe there are adjoining rooms, but you can be next door neighbors. 12 of us went on a trip together and we requested to be in one room after the other. Let...

How to do I let people know its my honeymoon?

I am not one to wear the ears, but believe me we met a lot of couples that did wear them and got a lot of attention. We mentioned to the desk clerk at CBR that it was our honeymoon and got zip!! Even after telling her we were stranded in Chicago for 2 days in the blizzard of 2000. Make a roar...
