How high is too much for you?

Having been to SDC every year of my life, I can vouch for SDC as being a clean, well kept park, and have never noticed peeling paint. Then again, perhaps I am so focused on going from ride to ride to notice the older paint. You have a good point about doing what's right for you. If you prefer...

How high is too much for you?

To answer the original question, I believe that many people would pay whatever it costs to take their children to WDW or DL once. However, Six Flags (Season pass $67 for every Six flags in the country including Magic Mountain and bring a friend tickets) and other reasonably priced parks will...

How high is too much for you?

I agree with Makayna on this one. SDC is a fantastic park! You can go to SDC for the entire year (March-December) for the cost of 1 day at DL. The quality of entertainment you get at SDC is as good or better than DL. The rides at SDC are way more thrilling than WDW or DL has to offer too...

Matching T-shirts for family for cruise?

As a first time t-shirt designer I think I will be quite pleased with the results. However, feel free learn from my experiences below :) 1) Read all the fine print on the website/ad before you pick a t-shirt provider (minimum quantities, shipping fees, and turnaround times are an important...

Does Disney REALLY enforce all of these rules I am hearing about?

"Dining Dress requirements vary by venue or theme night on your cruise. In general, most meals are "Cruise Casual"—no shorts, swimwear or tank tops." -DCL Onboard Dining Attire FAQ My response: "I'm disinclined to acquiesce to your request. It means "no". -Captain Barbossa

    Sept 20,2011 Wonder Repositioning Cruise

The best part is that it doesn't even rain all that much. We tell people it rains all the time and portray Seattle as rainy in movies like "Sleepless in Seattle" because we don't want I-405 to be any busier than it already is ;) It is usually overcast and rains a bit each day from November thru...

Rebooking and getting same room #?

Initially, I thought I could go either way on this and use the terms interchangeably. However, with a little more research, I have come to the conclusion that while neither term is ideal, rebook is closer to being correct. It also has the distinction of being a real word, as opposed to retail...

What time does "stuff" start happening in the mornings?

Right on! Like you said, the Cake at Sea varies daily! It would be a shame not to try all of them ;)

What time does "stuff" start happening in the mornings?

You know it will :) And don't expect me to be eating tons of pizza and go back to my "old unhealthy ways" either. I see this as a once (ok...twice) in a lifetime opportunity to have pizza delivered whenever I want ;) Ahh, just the encouragement I needed Thanks for letting us know about...

What time does "stuff" start happening in the mornings?

Yeah, I guess I am one of those lucky people who gets to be a night owl and a morning person. Ok...pizza for breakfast sounds crazy, right? Break it down: Sausage...very common breakfast food. Bacon...born for breakfast, even the Canadian version. Cheese...very commonly for breakfast (i.e...

What time does "stuff" start happening in the mornings?

Yeah, that is pretty early in the morning, but... 24 hour FREE room service + FH already on Pacific Time working mornings (super-motivated by the prospect of FREE pizza for breakfast) = Guaranteed breakfast (not pizza, I assume) waiting for you when you wake up :)...

    Sept 20,2011 Wonder Repositioning Cruise

It sounds like you might be on the same train as my fiance and I are. I am taking an Amtrak that leaves Seattle at 7:40a and gets to Vancouver at 11:40a. 24 hours isn't a lot of time when you plan on trying to sleep for 6-8 of those hours. We'll see how that goes, because I am going to be so...

    Sept 20,2011 Wonder Repositioning Cruise

I'm so excited, this trip does feel like it is just around the corner :) It would be nice if they'd give me my stateroom assignment already...pixie dust would be nice. Does anybody know if I can realistically expect to do an onboard upgrade from an inside stateroom to a verandah for anything...

    Sept 20,2011 Wonder Repositioning Cruise

Are there any Castaway Club members out there who know whether there is still availability for online Palo reservations for this cruise? This is my first cruise, so I cannot check on them until July 7th. My fiance is very excited about the possibility of dining there. Specifically, I am...

As much as I REALLY DO want to visit the suspension bridge, the Regional Park, Salmon Hatchery, and Cleveland Dam look fun too, they're free, and right nearby the bridge, so we could see both :cool1: http://www.findfamilyfun.com/capregionalpk.htm

    Yes Remy os worth it!

If this were to happen to me and I got "stares for the wrong reasons" I could chalk it up to proper etiquette and defend myself by saying "I don't want to be rude by questioning the chef's recommendation, especially at an upscale restaurant like Remy." I think a Barbera or Chianti goes well...
