FP+ All My Choices Were Avaliable

What a strange and scary thread. Mob mentality in the making...

FP+ was a mixed bag for us- Late May 2014

We too felt that our ability to do rides efficiently was scaled back. The biggest negatives being increased lines at secondary filler rides and a somewhat smaller rope drop window. On the positive side, we enjoyed being able to book rides for the evenings as well as arrival days...

    Pork and Turkey...a regional thing??

I don't think it's so much a "regional" thing as a "money" thing. Pork and turkey are cheap. Also, both are fairly bland and can be dressed up with various spices and flavors. The ubiquitous pork tenderloin is a family joke. Every restaurant seems to have it on the menu. Early this...

Disney AFTER FP+ and MB (and please be honest)

At Disney first 10 days of May -- moderate crowds Cons: - Longer waits for secondary rides - Rope drop window is impacted by FP riders. Felt the standby lines jumped around the 9:40 mark. - Was unable to change times (no availability) the 2 times I attempted. - Sapped spontaneity...

    The Biggest Disappointment this trip...

We were at WDW last week and did notice a different dynamic with rope drop at magic kingdom. In the past we've been able stroll in roughly 20-15 minutes before opening, watch the preshow, and then hit the rides. This trip there were so many folks waiting to get in we couldn't get through the...

Disney is the HOTTEST ticket in town!!!!!

It tells me there is demand (desire) for more rides.

    SDMT Soft Opening Lookout Post

Yesterday we asked the cast member who was guarding the mine coaster's entrance when there was going to be soft openings. She said there weren't going to be soft openings. Hoping she is wrong.

This is why the new FastPass- is the pits (and I'm being VERY nice w/that)

I took a wait and see approach with fp plus and I'm disappointed to see an adverse impact on rope drop. Our approach is to arrive early and leave by lunch. Today rope drop at MK was the worse I've ever seen. At 8:40 there was no room to let folks through the turnstiles. By the time...

Wait time for Ana and Elsa at rope drop

This morning at rope drop there was a line of cast members walking the hurd down the street. Folks were herded through the castle and around the carosel. It was fairly orderly.

So, are ALL new DVC dining reservations screwed up from the 10 day booking window....

I, too, was unable to make on-line reservations at 180+10. Sadly, I wasn't too surprised. I’m totally underwhelmed by Disney's IT.

    50's Prime Time Menu

The lunch menu looks old. On 10/4 they had neither the chicken sandwich nor the stacked sandwich. I was surprised as I did not want a hot, dinner-ish meal for lunch.

Why is Nine Dragons never Full?

Because it stinks? Honestly, I've never been. But it doesn't have a great following.

    Disruptive children in restaurants

Wow, I'm in trouble. If I'm spending over a hundred-fifty dollars for a meal for two I DO expect nice environment, sans screaming babies. Is this politically incorrect? Love kids. That said too many folk come to Disney saying “Hey, it’s Disney” giving the kids free-reign. The basic rules...

    They Moved My Bench!

In May my husband and I noticed the lack of benches. Seemed everytime we found a bench it was in a smoking area. More than annoying.

    Missing food at Disney

queso fundido at mexico. The waiter told us it was the most popular item on the menu, but it took too much of the waiter's time (assembled at the table).

How often do the boats run to HS from BCV area???

It’s actually located at the “Lighthouse” in front of the “Yacht Club’s” lobby.

Will the new studio policy......weaken our trading power?

For MANY this is a large inconvenience: they will now need to haul to WDW all the mugs, glasses, & soap to outfit the now useless kitchenette. For MOST it's the principle: DVC has once again degraded the value to the existing membership to either 1) save a buck or 2) misguidedly fix the...

    DVC studios - fewer amenities

To me this sounds like Disney’s misguided attempt to fix the number dissatisfier: Mousekeeping They must get countless complaints about the shoddy work by mousekeeping and the late checkin time for DVC. Timeshares with kitchen facilities just take longer to clean. So…. some idiot at DVC...
