Thanks for the replies! I just realized I mistyped in my original post and want to clarify we would be going back to shop on Saturday morning, not Monday.
I watched a live stream of Disney Springs last night and I don’t think we’ll be heading there Friday night, looked way too crowded for us...
We're going to be in the Orlando area for just one night and we're thinking about heading over to Disney Springs to check things out (get some takeout) on Friday, March 12th, and then head back to do some shopping first thing in the morning on the 13th. I just found out that this is apparently...
We went last Thursday (10/24) which I heard was a sold out party. We didn't do any of the M&G's since we have little kids who either weren't interested or don't like meeting characters lol. The ride lines were great for the most part. Ride wise we got a ton done and were able to do somethings...
What I liked about Kingdom was that we could rent things besides strollers. We used them in the pasat to rent a crib since the only option at our resort was a pack n play. My kids never slept well no matter how tired they were in a pack n play so it was great to be able to rent a crib and have...
I know a lot of people (including myself) send packages to the resort they're staying at, but has anyone ever had mail, like a letter, sent to a resort. I recevied a rewards card from my work that I can use to purchase a Disney Gift Card but the gift card has to be ordered from the company...
We were in WDW last year from 10/20-10/27 and as our week progressed the amount of Halloween merchandise seem to get a lot less. When we left on 10/27 we could still buy stuff but it was getting very limited with the majority of holiday merchandise having been switched over to Christmas by that...
When we took DS in 2013 the hotel crib at WL was a pack n play, so maybe it's changed or depends on which hotel you're staying at. When we went back in 2014 we rented a crib from Kingdom Strollers and it was a regular wooden crib and worked much better for us.
Just had to say that we're checking in this Saturday too!!! Also, my parents were originally supposed to be staying with us at WL for part of the week and offsite for part of the week. Well it now turns out that they'll be staying at WL the whole week, and we have either adjoining rooms or...
Nuts, but thanks for the info, I do appreciate it! I was so hoping it might be something different lol. As you say though, it is (most of the time) better than nothing.
Hope you're having a great trip!
Does anyone know if they've switched the coffee in Roaring Forks over to the new provider yet? I just read on another thread that that the transitions were supposed to begin mid April? I love my morning cup of coffee, but am not a fan of the Nescafe at all.
Thanks!
Thanks so much for the welcome! I normally feel like an old hand at all this Disney stuff, with this being the only thing I worry about, but with this trip being our DS first trip and him only being 17 months, I have a bunch of other questions, thoughts, and worries swirling around my head that...
Thanks so much for the advice. We probably will just play it by ear. If he seems ok going over to HM, then maybe we'll go through the queue, and depending on how he handles that we can always have someone take him out without actually going on the ride. He doesn't seem to mind the dark, but...
How did she do on HM? We're taking our 17 month old in 12 days, and I'm pretty much going with the same philosophy of if there isn't a height restriction it will be considered. I've been thinking over the rides that might cause an issue more and more now that we're getting closer, and now I'm...
This will be our second May trip (11-18). Our first one must have been the same dates as you in 2009, since it rained a good portion of our trip, at least 3-4 days. We still had a blast, but we were told that was not the norm for May at all. I think I remember hearing a tropical depression...
Our trip is just under 2 weeks away, and I'm at the point where I'm obnoxiously excited (which I have a feeling many people hear can possibly relate to). We always book a courtyard view and request an inner courtyard, but I have to admit I think waiting to check in and see what room we're...
I'm the same way about having to buy it when I'm there or it doesn't count. I actually asked for a Chamilla bracelet for Valentines Day since I've always wanted to do a Disney charm bracelet, but am not really a fan of all dangly charms. I was going back and forth between the Pandora and...
We're taking our 17 month old in 2 weeks for his first trip, and we bought a Chicco liteway (I think that's the way it's spelled). It's very light weight, and steers great, and folds up very easily and compactily (similar to a maclaren). The feature that I love the most is that it has a full...
