    Budget Offer Code?

We decided to rent a car four in trip early next month and ACK! Budget's rate is not good. Does anyone have an offer code for a Mon-Fri rental? TIA! :)

    Off Site Restaurants and Takeout

Thanks all. :) Some good ideas here. I'll definitely check out Celebration. It would be fun to go explore over there. The ale house sounds like something we might like too.

    Off Site Restaurants and Takeout

Thanks Southerngirl. I'll look them up and see if there is anything that will work for take out. I just remembered there are a bunch of restaurants in Crossroads. While I'm not normally a big fan of chains for dinner, it might be fun to try something we don't have up here in Central New York.

    Off Site Restaurants and Takeout

My husband and I are staying in a one bedroom at SSR in about month. We have two nights with no dinner reservations, so I'm thinking we'll eat in and enjoy the villa at least one of those nights. Do you have any favorite offsite restaurant favorites? We'll have a car for a change so this...

What's the worst part about a DVC/Disney vacation?

How long it often takes for your room to be ready on check in.

    Any DVC Golfers Out There?

Whoops. I meant to quote ajasmom above.

    Any DVC Golfers Out There?

Small world! :) I booked LBV course for 12/4 and 12/6. If you see a 50 year old woman landing balls in the water and cursing under her breath, that will be me. :P

    Any DVC Golfers Out There?

See? I thought so. :smooth: I just started playing this year, and I'm really looking forward to this trip. Oh, and thanks. I did get the DVC rate. It was $72 for 18 holes and a cart as opposed to $99 non members.

    Any DVC Golfers Out There?

DH and I are taking our first Disney golf trip in early December. We are staying at SSR and will be playing at Lake Buena Vista course on two of our three full days (with the middle day visiting Epcot). He seems to think the golf courses are probably used mostly by locals. I'm thinking there...

Question for those of you who have used the $199 tickets

Thanks for your responses. I wrote down the two ticket numbers and put them in my wallet. I think I'll write them down for the kids to carry with them along with our DVC member number. We are all staying at VWL. My older son and his two friends (who are staying in a studio) dragged...

Question for those of you who have used the $199 tickets

Did you have any problems with using your $199 tickets yourselves or did anyone you purchased them for have any problems? I ask because last week I called and purchased three more tickets for our January trip. While the CM didn't say anything negative when we bought our original four tickets...

    Adults weekend

Monorail Happy Hour Run is always fun. Stop at different resort lounges on the monorail and then end up having dinner at a signature where you don't find as many kids. (Citricos and California Grill for example) Downtown Disney is another option. I think Bongo's usually has a band on...

    Too much salt!

Wow. Any subject can become a debate on this website. I don't think this there's a right/wrong answer. OP and many others (including myself) think that the food at Disney, in general, is over salted. Others don't. She feels that the saltiness causes her to bloat. Some want to challenge...

    Too much salt!

I was going to say the same thing. If you aren't used to eating in chain restaurants or eating processed foods or don't over salt in your own cooking, you most likely will find Disney food over salted. I'm a dressing on the side person too, but I find the salt in many dishes overwhelming...

    DVC Four Day Ticket

Scott, after reading the responses, I think you should call and ask. I'm pretty sure the CM mentioned this while running through the list of rules for these tickets.

    DVC Four Day Ticket

I bought our four day four park tickets today. While I did not ask the question, the CM (Bonnie) volunteered that you can go to two different parks in one day but will two days will be used on the tickets.

    Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar

A year or two ago we stopped in to Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar for a drink before dinner and ended up staying for dinner. Loved it. We want to go back in January, and I see they don't accept reservations. Has anyone ever had a hard time getting a table as a walk in? It will be just two of...

I'm sure with all the people buying these tickets they'll get it figured out fairly quickly. They always do.

    New DVC Ticket Deal

Thanks, Twinkle. I wonder if they are losing business to Universal and trying to get ppl into the Disney parks? :confused3

    New DVC Ticket Deal

We are traveling in January with sons (18 and 21) and each is bringing a friend. Since we will be there for five full days, this sounds like a great deal for the kids. I think a length of stay hopper was going to run them over $350 each. I don't think they will care if they can hop or not...
