I have been on 15 cruises, and unfortunately on one of those cruises, I contracted the noro-virus. It was on a Carnival ship a few years ago. I was quarantined for 24 hours. It's something I'd prefer never to experience again! And I wouldn't wish it on anyone else. It's a horrible sick...
