    Brown Derby or Mama Melrose's?

I ate at Mama Melrose a year ago and the food and service was great (especially considering we were a party of 8). However if you have the extra cash, I'd go to the Brown Derby, the food is incredible, I've never had bad service and it's a quiet relaxing restaurant. Natalie

    Big River Grille

I ate there last week and had the chicken quesadilla which I loved. Others in my party had burgers which they seemed to enjoy. I thought the service was great. It was rather chilly out by Florida standards and the wait for inside was about an hour (this was about 8pm) so we chose to sit...

I need help picking my last ADR

I love Mama Melrose at MGM, there was 8 of us and the food and service was fantastic, nobody was unhappy for a change. The Brown Derby is another favorite, my boyfriends folks never miss when they're in town. At Epcot I really like Germany, I've found the food to be good, with a nice variety...

    Random, obscure WDW advice

You may have already heard these but; Jellyrolls at Disney's Boardwalk is a ton of fun. It's a piano bar where they only take requests and encourage you to sing along and have a great time. It opens at 7pm, music starts at 8pm and runs till 2am. $10 cover charge. If you step outside you...

    Yet another CP question

Taking classes can be beneficial, it all depends on you and what you want to get out of Disney. I did not take any classes on either of my two cps because I used them as a break from school and a way to get my foot in the door at Disney. Oddly enough I am now an advanced intern with the...

    AK sweets and treats!?!

The Cookie Cabin in Camp Minnie Mickey, it's not always open, but when it is, mmmm, warm cookies and ice cream sandwhiches Oh, and the root beer floats you can find in serveral spots, I love the cup and spoon/straw they come with, they're a great deal. Natalie

    Disney College Students

A college board would be awesome, I can't wait for my spring break trip, I'm going with my family, which is great, it saves me a lot of money and they're a lot of fun. Hey mickeysdsnyprncs, good luck getting into the cp, I applied Monday for a second cp, did you apply for Fall or Fall...

Good, Bad and Ugly about Garden Grill

Question about the meal, I know it's served family style, but is it all you can eat, do you choose certain items or do you get a variety, how exactly does that work?

Favorite Parade Spot at ALL Parks?

I'll toss in my two cents on the AK parade. I have two favorite spots, one is on the Discovery Island side of the Africa bridge, if you're looking at the bridge, there's a small stone fence/wall you can sit if you get there early enough on the left side, or I've found the right side isn't very...

In bad weather see Lion King Show early

The Festival of the Lion King was enclosed this Fall, so bad weather is no longer a worry. The theatre is now heated and air conditioned.

Which are must do for my 2.5yo DS at AK?

I worked in Camp Minnie-Mickey as a cp last spring. Little kids loved the Lion King show (and pretty much everyone else too), I've seen more than one dancing along. Don't go see ITTBAB before the Lion King if you go see it at all and if you can avoid it seeing it first, just in case they...

How can get a good rate at ASM?

Unfortunatly I don't qualify for the CM discount until I've arrived and began working for Disney after the 13. I will check out mousesavers.com though, thank you for telling me about it, and any other advice is appreciated. Thanks again :) Natalie

How can get a good rate at ASM?

I start my college program with Disney on Jan 13, and my Mom is flying in with me on the 12. Any suggestions for getting a good rate on a room at All Stars Music, or any of the All Stars resorts? I've heard about discount codes, is there a certain place to find these codes? What about...

    Transporation to and from airport..

Thanks for the advice, I think we'll look into Mears, do they have a web site? Also, do you need to make advance reservations, or can we just arrange it when we arrive in Orlando? Thanks again :) Natalie

    Transporation to and from airport..

What's the cheapest way to get from Orlando International Airport to our hotel? I start my college program with Disney on Jan 13, and my Mom is flying down with me on the 12. We're staying the night at the All Stars Music, and then she's flying back the later that day on the 13...

    footwear for water parks?

We leave Friday for our first trip to WDW in 11 years, and we've never been to the water parks, so sorry if this is a silly question, but do they let you wear the water shoes (rubber bottoms with mesh/stretchy fabric on top) on all of the slides and raft/tude type rides? I found some at...
