Going next week, can I get some opinions on my itinerary? Do I need Genie+?

A couple of recommendations 1. Don't take Skyliner from HS to EPCOT, unless you really want to ride it. That trip is not direct - you will have to transfer at Riviera (I think) and it takes about 45 minutes. The Friendship boat is faster. 2. If you get to HS for early Entry, you should be...

    Three parks in one day?

Since AK at night is important, I'd keep the order you have. You could Uber BUT Uber will drop you off at Ticket and Transportation and then you'd need to monorail or ferry to MK, so the bus might actually be faster. I'd do the following. I'm assuming you are staying on site and can do the...

    Three parks in one day?

I think it's doable. We (me, husband and 15 year old) did all four parks the last week of October. The only suggestion I might make is to plan the order of parks around where you are staying if you are using Disney transportation. For us, we started at AK since it required a bus (we stayed at...

One caveat. If the park you are making your LL is not where you have your reservation, it will give you available times after 2pm. This might be handy for hopping. We were there last week of October and were planning to hop to HS. I got online at 7am and was able to get my first LL at 2:30...

Slinky Dog - Early Entry or Lightning Lane?

We did both on our trip in late October. The day we started at HS, we arrived around 8 and got in line for SDD. They started running right at 8:30 and we were off by 8:45 - were able to then walk on TSMM and rode MMRR with a 20 minute wait. Used our first LL for MFSR. Another day we hopped to...

    1 day planning help—Rise, MMRR & Remmy

Yes, if you are linked, he can buy it for you. I'd have him do that.

    1 day planning help—Rise, MMRR & Remmy

Is there someone you could give your MDE login info to who would be willing to purchase your ILL for Rise at 7am EST? So long as you already have Genie purchased, I think this would work. They would need to have the app downloaded and be logged in as you. Then you don't need to deal with...

No, if you mean the ILL$ (ie FOP or ROTR) you won't be able to. When we were there last week, my son was only there for 2 days with us and so had separate tickets. So even though he WAS in our room, he wasn't a resort guest in the system. On our first day, I tried to buy ROTR at 7am and I...

We did it both ways last week. First time we purchased an ILL for 6:30. We walked right through the line onto the ride - maybe took 5 minutes. The next time, I got a BG at 7am. We were called at 1:30 (BG 51). We waited in line 30 minutes.

Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

In my opinion, the best way to ride SDD if you want to start at HS is to rope drop it. Of course, that essentially forces you to purchase ROTR at $15 a pop if you want to avoid lines. Seems like you can have better luck getting an earlyish LL for MFSR, then you can do SDD, TSM, and AS2 at rope...

Do you tour the parks in the rain?

It rained on our Boo Bash night last week. We weren't giving up those tickets, so we soldiered on. Unfortunately, we had forgotten raincoats/ponchos back at our hotel room (ugg) so Disney made 60 bucks off us for 4 ponchos. I call it my $15 trash bag. And of course, two of those four ponchos...

    When can you purchase Genie+?

I added mine onto our tickets just a couple of days before our trip started - didn't impact anything with park reservations. However, if you add it to your tickets in advance, you have to add it for every day you have tickets and there is no discount. I didn't want the stress of having to add...

Epcot Reserved for Arrival day, how does this look?

You could most likely get anything at HS outside of SDD. MFSR might not be available - but I think you'd have a good chance at noon.

Epcot Reserved for Arrival day, how does this look?

Couple of things you might want to consider. If your plan departs at 7:05, then you will definitely be boarded at 7 and might be pushing it to not have it switched to airplane mode yet. How are you getting from the airport to WDW? Renting a car, Uber, ME (if this year) or something else? I...

    HS strategy with G+

Here's what we did the day we started at HS. At 7am, got an 11:25 ILL$ for ROTR and then a 10;45 for MFSR. By the time I has purchased Rise, SDD was already after 2pm Walked to HS from the Swan and got there at 8. They were already letting resort guests in to queue for rides. We had to...

One Day at the Parks - No Genie+, Tips Needed

Remember that you can't hop until 2pm. So if they leave MK around 1 (monorail/ferry to T&T center and then monorail to EPCOT), they would be at EPCOT at 2. But they would want to be back at MK to get a spot for fireworks by 7:30-8pm. So they would need to leave EPCOT by 6:30. This leaves...

Good point - so I'd modify my advice to arrive at HS at 7:30 to ride ROTR. Then I think the rest of the plan would work.

Yes, you are right on that - I forgot about that one. Our HM LL was a longer one... they merge everyone before you go in and it seemed like they'd take 10 standby for every 5 LL people.

The plan above is also what I would do. We only rode ROTR with ILL$, but I would think if you were at the park around 8am for the 8:30 EE, you could ride it and be off by 9am. Then you could probably ride MFSR with a small wait. We rope dropped HS one day, walked in the park at 8:20 and were...

What do you carry all your “Stuff” in when you’re at the parks?

I purchased a small cross-body water bottle holder from Corksicle for this trip. It worked really well - there's a pocket for a large water bottle and then a zipper pouch that fit my phone, battery, credit cards, extra masks and (with a little cramming) my sunglasses.
