All great suggestions so far! My advice would be to take time to notice the small things, the little Disney touches are everywhere! The Art of the Theme Show is very interesting. But above all, just have fun and enjoy the fact you’re on a Disney Cruise!

Last year when I took Disney transportation from resort to port, we had to have luggage ready by room entrance at 8:00am, and they pick it up right from room. We didn’t get picked up until around lunch time to head to port.

I have done numerous solo Disney cruises, and have met the best people, some people that we now meet up to cruise together. The freedom of just being by yourself is great, for all the reasons listed already. Star Wars Day at Sea is pretty cool btw...and I’m not even a Star Wars fan.

We requested window seats in the restaurants that we could. We also asked for certain drinks in the fridges. Not sure which suite you’ll be in, but I requested that the twin beds be pushed together in the second bedroom.

Since you only use your Key to the World card on the ship to make purchases, you can use either your credit card or your Disney Gift Cards to pay down your onboard account. You can have Guest Services apply the gift cards at anytime during the cruise. We applied our at the beginning to get it...

I think you may be able to call ahead. You can for sure go to Guest Service once onboard and they will apply the GCs to your account. Anything that gets charged to your onboard account can be paid down by the GCs.

The clocks that were in our suite were NOT compatible with the iPhone 5, they have the 30 pin connection, you will need an adaptor for our iPhone 5. I don't remember noticing the AUX In.

I would strongly suggest getting Gravol Non-drowsy. I think it has ginger in it. Widely available in Canada and very effective. You can also get regular Gravol which is great for the evenings as it makes you drowsy. We just did Alaska from Vancouver on the Wonder. Our stateroom was on deck 8 so...
