DCL does offer motorcoach transfers from the Disneyland Resorts three hotels (Disneyland Hotel, Paradise Pier & Grand Californian) to the port and from the port to the hotels for a charge of $30.00 per person each way. DCL doesn't offer transfers from the airport to the Disneyland Resort though.

I was on the 10/15 Western Cruise as well and I have to say that Captain John and DCL did an amazing job at keeping us out of harms way. It was my partners first cruise ever, and everything ended up in our favor with all the changes, from our Palo's Reservations, to a full day in Key West.
