    DCP Dilemma-HELP

I know I saved money during my first program ( and I'll be entering a second soon hoping to save even more, because I have loans too >.< ) What advice I can offer: Cook instead of always eating out, and bring your lunch to work. It will save you a lot of money to not buy subway for lunch...

College Program Questions Thread, Pt 3

It's all about the convenience. Surely you can take the bus everywhere necessary, and although I had my car, I often used to buses to save gas and reduce carbon footprint, etc... but when your shift ends at 3am or when your need something fast, it's a great thing to have. It allows you a bit...

    Chatham Balconies

The obvious choice is to tell the cast member on check-in day that you'd like a apt. on the second or third floor. After that, it's just luck.

    Formal events?

I'd like to throw it out there that Florida is general is a super casual place. It's flip-flops and shorts all the time. A little black dress of sorts will get you throw formal and any paaaartaays/clubs you might go to. Otherwise, floridians don't get dressed up for anything. Just WAIT until you...

No matter where you work or at what time, Disney will ALWAYS have transportation for you. Say the last bus leaves your work location before your shift ends ( or doesn't come until after your shift starts ) you could call the number of the bus company ( which will be on your bus schedule ) and...

I'm so flattered that my list has been copy/pasted. haha. But now that I look back at a few things, I might make 2 separate lists, 1 for people who drive and another to flyers.

    Cast member costumes!

When you drive in to the parks, you first go through the toll booth, then you are directed by people with those airplane signals sticks, then when you park a person on a segway drives the segway to your parking spot and points, kind of saying "you here, you here, you here" type thing to the...

    Experiences with QSFB?

I'm replying to this just to emphasize how right it is! Do you know which restaurants are the first and second though/ THAT'S INSANE to be third. I never knew. Then again, I stayed away from Cosmic Rays, EXCEPT for when I was there at Grad Nite, LOL. It must suck to work that. I remember being...

    Cast member costumes!

June is so soon. I'm jealous! I would definately not worry about any part of your job. Disney trains your butt off so you will know what you are doing. Also, the tram path/road isn't complecated. Maybe Magic Kingdom, but still not a big drive. You'll also be driving it a million times a day, so...

eating while at the disney college program

    1. Of course not. I think many people think where we are living is like dorms, but they are real apartments fully furnished with pots and pans and silverware to cook all you want. I rarely ate out, and the only times was when I didn't have time to pack my lunch before and I ate at the cafeteria...

    College Program Parents Thread...

There is a hotel right across from Vista Way that I can't imagine too be too expensive, especially compared to a Disney Resort. It that's the case it will be one short trip via cab, and it is quite safe. The entire area is very touristy and there will will already be CP's there. I imagine all...
