    Using pool at resort

I wasn't really thinking to try anything - just wondering if you can buy a visitor's pass to use the resort facilities for a day or two. We've been to the Wisconsin Dells a few times and that is very common there. It's a nice way to try a place and see if you'd like to come for a future stay...

    Using pool at resort

Actually some of the nice resorts at the Wisconsin Dells do let day guests come and use their facilities for a fee. Just wasn't sure if any of the Disney resorts do that. Thanks for your answers.

    Using pool at resort

We will be staying offsite for our Disney trip this March. However, I would like to stay on site the next time we go and would like to try out one or two of the pool areas at the resorts to help us decide where to stay next time. Are you allowed to use the pool facilities if you're not...

    Deck 7 vs. Deck 2

Thanks for all your replies. They were very helpful. Sounds like either Deck 7 or Deck 2 would be fine, but there was one cabin left on Deck 7 (7501), so I went ahead and booked that. Looks like that room is at the very foward end. Hope that is a good (and quiet) location!

    Deck 7 vs. Deck 2

We are looking at booking the Nov. 6, 2004 Western and will likely go with a Cat. 10. I have already checked and there are no SPRs (Deck 5) available for that sailing. My question is - is it better to get one of the Cat. 10s on Deck 7, or is Deck 2 just as good?

Eastern or Western Cruise & why??

We went on the 2/22 Eastern with two DSs, ages 4 and 5. The St. Maarten day was by far our favorite day. We too thought the shopping area was kind of icky and just stopped there long enough to buy cute outfits for tropical night. Then we took a taxi to Dawn Beach and it was wonderful...

    time between show + dinner

We had early seating also, which starts at 6:00. We were always done by 7:30 and the little 30 minute shows which were held in the different nightclubs usually started at 7:45. They only lasted 30 minutes so that gave us enough time to get a good seat at the main shows, which started at 8:30...

    I got #7120!!!!

Since these rooms are Cat. 7 does that mean they only sleep 3? Or do they sleep 4 since they used to be a Cat. 5 and were changed to a Cat. 7 due to the obstructed view?

    Dessert...yummy!

There was a creme brulee cheesecake at either Animator's Palate or Parrot Cay (I can't remember which). It was a delicious cheesecake base with a crispy creme brulee topping. Fabulous!

    time between show + dinner

I agree with Renesam! We went to several of the "little" shows in between dinner and the main show, and they were great! Our kids loved them. We went to the family versions of the dueling pianos, the juggler (who was unbelievably good), and a comedian. These shows are only 30 minutes long...

All Seasons travel 600.00 cheaper then Dreams ???

I received the same answer from DU from Cathy - that Dreams Unlimited does not match prices. The price from All Seasons is about $500 less than Dreams for the February, 2004 cruise I'm looking into.

Ok guys time to fess up whose going on Feb.22 on the eastern cruise?????

Hello Mariah! We made it home finally after a fairly miserable day of traveling. Our flight into Bloomington was cancelled after they flew us all the way up here and then decided they couldn't land due to bad weather. So, they flew us back to St. Louis where we rented a car and drove home (3...

Ok guys time to fess up whose going on Feb.22 on the eastern cruise?????

I think meeting at Topsiders at 3:15 sounds like a great idea. If my 2 DS (4 and 5) meet some other kids that they can play in the Club with I think they would be more apt to go without a fuss. I really want to do Palo, both brunch and dinner! Should we meet in a certain section of...

PassPorter's Field Guide to DCL - Hot off the press!

Does anyone know if you can purchase these at a book store such as Barnes & Noble? We leave next Saturday on the 2/22 Magic and I'm sure it wouldn't have time to arrive before we leave if I order it on-line. Thanks!

    Gift Baskets???

I was the one who posted yesterday about the unfriendly and nonhelpful service I received from "The Perfect Gift". Just wanted to let everyone know that Shirley emailed me right away and asked me to call her. I did and she said she'd take care of the situation and personally handle my gift...

Ok guys time to fess up whose going on Feb.22 on the eastern cruise?????

We are going on the 2/22 Magic! Myself, DH, DS5, and DS4. My boys are pretty skittish about being left places so I'm hoping they'll go into the club at least once so we can experience Palo! I know they're supposed to be in separate groups due to their ages, but I think they'd do much better...

    Gift Baskets???

I don't normally complain about things but wanted to say that I didn't receive the friendly helpful service that other posters have mentioned when I called to order gift baskets for my two little boys. I don't know the name of the person who took my order, I just asked if it was Shirley...

    Room 6550?

Thanks for the response! It's nice to hear from someone who had actually stayed in "our" room. I'm assuming the room has the fold out couch as well as the small bed that pulls down from the ceiling, correct? When your kids are asleep in the couch and pull down bed is it very difficult...

    Room 6550?

We are going to be in room 6550 on the Magic for the 2/22/03 7 day cruise. Has anyone stayed in that room (or near it)? Was the location ok? Noise level? Does it have a plexiglass verandah? Thanks!
