I guess that if you're flying in international and then transferring to domestic then you would expect to go through customs and that you would need your luggage with you, so probably yes you'll have the same. I hadn't considered this when we booked our flights but it worked out fine.

Hi, We stayed at a Highlands Reserve villa in Feb. Its about 20 minutes from the parks , down on highway 27. But the villa was great and the area very quiet. That end of the 192 is less busy and not so cheap'n'nasty as the eastern side.
