    Calling all Bluezoo fans!!!

DH and I ate at Bluezoo two trips ago and it was amazing. I had the scallop and shortrib app(delish!). The whole dinner was just so yummy and we would return in a heartbeat. We try to try a different restaurant on each trip so we haven't made it back yet. I hope you enjoy your meal there. Let us...

Disney Magical Express Bus crash leaves one dead

We have our own (rental) car every wdw trip. Driving on disney property is like driving anywhere, you have to be aware of what is happening around you. There are some out of country drivers, and drivers who just arent use to driving in alot of traffic. Always be aware of what the other person...

How often do you eat table service meals?

We have had both the table service and the quick service dining plan. I don't think we will ever do the ts meal plan again. It is hard being tied down to a reservation and it is ALOT of food. The qs works so much better for our family. We have a couple Table Service restaraunts we must do but we...

Please share with me how you would start in the Magic Kingdom.

I would suggest getting there for rope drop. The first attraction for sure should be Peter Pan's Flight. Do that right away because the line for that is crazy all day long. There are two Dumbo's now, so our wait in Sept. wasn't that bad. Explore the new fantasy land early morn and they go hit...

    MNSSHP & Jack Sparrow

Our family went to MNSSHP on 9/11 this year and Capt. Jack was scheduled to be out at 7. We waited in line for a bit and a cm finally informed us that he wouldn't be out unit later (too much rum maybe). We grabbed a snack by the Magic Carpets, met Jasmine and Aladin and sure enough the line for...

Why is Walt Disney One Man's Dream so ignored?

Yes, I was saying that many people aren't aware that Walt Disney is a person, not just a brand. Without his imagination and drive non of the theme parks we love would exist.

    Limited Time Magic?

I love what it is... I hate the name.

Why is Walt Disney One Man's Dream so ignored?

It is a must do for our family and I think it should be for everyone's family. It would be scary if you found out the number of young people who believe DISNEY is a brand much like Coca-Cola. So many don't even know a man named Walt Disney existed and non of the trill rides and the parks they...

Back from our first "adult's only" Disney trip

We go to disney once a year. But we alternate our trips, one year the whole family goes the next year just my husband and I go. We never feel guilty about leaving the kids. Mom's and dad's need that time away from the kids to reconnect and have the one on one time that is so important. We love...

    Replacement restaurant for Cali Grill?

Another vote for Bluezoo! My husband and I tried Bluezoo in 2011 after hearing some really good feedback and it was amazing. The atmospher was great, the service was top notch and the food was outta this world. We are returning to WDW Sept. 28, 2013 for our next solo trip (no kids) and we are...

Silliest question/comment you've heard about Disney?

We get this every year when we make our annual trip to "the world". Our minimum stay is 14 days. We have friends that will just never get it. They always ask, "why don't you try some where else?" or "aren't you sick of it?". We use to try and explain it but unless they go and experience the...

You ever searched for photos of you and the family on strangers's old vidoes/photos?

YES! We do this all the time, and I have found my husband. I spotted him in the crowds celebrating the MK's 40th. It was easy though, he is 6'7" so that made it easy to spot him. It was exciting to see him in the crowd, almost gives you a deja vu feeling:)

Where would you suggest? First trip for bf.

I agree, it is never too late to start planning. Well if you are thinking of a deluxe my choice would be the Beach Club, only because I have always wanted to stay there myself. As far as a mod goes, I would go with PORS. It is so beautiful there. I love the resort. It just has a great vibe. But...

Need suggestions for nice (adult) dinner

The Blue Zoo. The hubbs and I went there last year for our "nice" anniversary dinner and it was awesome! I don't remember seeing one single child in there. If they were there, they were very well behaved. It was a perfect choice for us. We would for sure go there again.

Anyone NOT excited about the Starbucks @ WDW?

Sorry i am very excited. I don't really care that it is Starbucks or Duckin Donuts, etc. i am just excited about some good coffee in the parks. Disney does many things amazingly. However coffee, bacon, and orange juice (which is weird for Florida) are not some of those things.

Do you wear ears at WDW?

We have a wall full of Mickey Ears in our upstairs hall. We try to get a least one new pair each trip. However my DD12 and I prefer the minnie headbands. In fact i carry them in my carryon bag and as soon as the tires from our plane touches down in Orlando the headbands go on and the cheers...

Trying to decide if MNSSHP is worth the $$

I agree, that is alot of money, i will say though that if you can budget that it in it is soooo worth it. We absolutely love the halloween party. The parade is my fav and the fireworks are outstanding. We have also have done MVMCP and it didn't even come close to MNSSHP. Everyone is in such a...
