Oh, that's interesting. Is there a way that I can look at just those, if they are tracked? I mean I did the most blatantly obvious thing, search for "reservation" but that didn't seem to work terribly well. :confused3 I'd like to go back and look at some previous (recent) ones even if they...
I do get those newsletters, and as mentioned it's pretty much always SSR, which isn't really on our bucket list. Having done the math on those ones, I think I'd be just as happy spending close to the same on a moderate such as CBR or POR.
There hasn't been a post in the rent board with the...
I was kind of looking at things the other way -- I now have the ability to get flights on points at relatively short notice, so thought if somebody had a reservation they couldn't use perhaps I could buy it out for them at a discount rather than them being stuck. But I see literally nobody...
Sorry for the n00b question, but I'm curious if something changed somewhere along the line. I remember seeing people advertising confirmed reservations for sale which could give a potentially cheap opportunity to somebody that could arrange a trip on short notice. But I don't see those any...
I understand how you feel, but at the same time, value AKV is the cheapest of the DVC options going, points-wise. There are also ample opportunities to view the animals in a hundred other spots besides your room. So, if you're somebody that is stretching a bit to make a trip, buying DVC points...
Just wondering if I want to be in Kidani, not Jambo, which Room type should I get?
Studio V, S, SV, C
1BR V, S, SV, C
Looking for the most inexpensive room we can get, at Kidani, that has a better few than a garbage dumpster from the balcony.
Do any of the Disney resorts have saltwater pools? One family member can't tolerate cholrine but is ok with saltwater pools (we have one at home). I've heard rumours that this or that resort had a saltwater pool but when I phone them directly they always say no.
Anyone know for sure of one...
One member of my family cannot tolerate chlorine, but does fine in a saltwater pool.
Does anyone know if any resorts close to Disneyworld have saltwater pools?
Especially a Marriott since I participate in their rewards program.
Thanks for all the spirited discussion.
I do understand the "you invite you pay" sentiment. As parents of the only child, I've done this lots. I've paid for between 1 and 4 friends to go along on all sorts of outings from beach days to amusement parks, paid the admission, the food, the gas...
We have an only child, DD14.
We have gone twice to Disney and taken a friend along.
My question is, what should the friend ('s parents) be expected to pay?
Seems like the kids we want to take the most, have no hope of contributing, and the ones with money... well...
But we can't afford to...
I am. And I have. And it was really fun. I have proof! (see sig)
Best way to sing with the Dans is to catch them making their way along Main Street *after* a performance. What I did was youtube some of their repertoire and match up what I knew so I had some ideas of what to sing with...
I would like a studio or 1 bedroom in AKV but in Kadani not Jambo. Which point values on the charts represent Kadani options?
Looking at Early October.
Probably can use the $200 difference as a rule of thumb then against whatever price the Dolphin Swim package is.
Makes for an expensive day though. Costs more for for that than a 10-day ticket to WDW... times however many people...
I was wondering if you could get take out meals from Table Service restaurants and pay for them on the DDP?
Sometimes just taking a couple meals back to your hotel room and eating them together on the balcony or the beach is more what I feel like vs sitting for an hour in a restaurant...
This unfortunately is not possible for somebody with an actual anxiety disorder, their brain isn't working the same way yours is.
It's like telling somebody that is deathly afraid of spiders (heights/bees/elevators/flying/snakes/whatever) "just stop being afraid and pray" and expecting...
22 is not young for it, it often starts in early teens or earlier. The good news is, at 22, your cognitive skills are fully developed (unlike a 12 year old) and therefore you can bring them to bear in combination with any meds you use to help yourself. But you need to be trained in those...
You should see a therapist that specializes in anxiety. It's poorly understood by many people and medical professionals alike. But there are treatments, both medical and non-medical, or a combination.
How old are you? I ask because treatment is different based on your age for various...
Never sung in Kentucky, but I'll keep it in mind if I'm out that way.
Had a blast, glad you liked it.
I'll PM you for some info -- There's been a few times when I *almost* went to SF for training on this or that, and may yet happen as a lot of the tech companies HQ in that area...
