New Experience - Quick Solo Visit

I did this once for the same reasons at Disneyland. Because I was only there for one day, I really went crazy booking around the parks, I wish I had slowed down (ha!). I did take advantage of single rider lines but quickly realized this wasn't always faster for certain attractions (Matterhorn...

    Beach Club or Saratoga Springs?

I would do SSR for that part of the trip too.

Never thought I'd do it- Cancelled.

We’re taking our first trip to WDW since 2014 and since having 3 kids. I would normally be ecstatic but it’s hard to get past the changes. If things were “normal”, we’d probably be going back next year too but I think it’s safe to say that isn’t happening. It’s the principle thing for me too. I...

    Fear of Rock N Rollercoaster

I actually don't think it's that intense of a roller coaster, plus it's such a short ride. Keep your head back (which should be easy) and that will help on any corkscrew, but it's really not that bad. I am a ride wimp but RNR has never bothered me.

    Car seat storage

The weight minimum for the bubble bums is 40 lbs, same as high-back booster seats and regular booster seats. The age/height minimums should also be the same (I'm not positive...). A high-back booster is largely the equivalent of a regular booster seat in a car with head rests. Did you mean you...

    Disney World While Pregnant

I would definitely go. 22 weeks is a perfect time to go (26 is good too!). Enjoy an adult-only vacation!! I've been to Disneyland pregnant twice, at about 29/30 weeks pregnant and at about 11/12 weeks (different pregnancies). I only ever really liked the 2nd trimester, and somehow both trips...

Help with deciding what resort to stay at

    I would pick Wilderness Lodge!

    How intense is Everest?

The backwards part isn't a drop. It is a weird feeling and pushes you against your seat so it's intense in that way, but it's fine. The actual drop isn't that bad either. I've found that sitting in the very front is helpful because you can see and it's slightly slower (or feels that way at...

    AKL vs. CBR

Are you totally positive about going back to the room for naps? We have taken trips with 1yos, 2yos, etc. and they always end up falling asleep in the stroller. We have stayed at Grand Californian twice (right by Disneyland) to help with naps but both trips, we only took advantage of the...

    Universal or Knotts Berry?

The advantage that USH has over Orlando is the tram backlot tour and that you actually get more of the Hollywood feel. You are also nearby to actual Hollywood and can visit Grauman's Chinese Theatre and it's a fun area to walk around a little. I last went to USH in fall 2019. We had young kids...

    SAN DIEGO

We went to San Diego in 2019 and visited all of those places. We stayed at the Embassy Suites downtown and it was fun to walk around near there. Walking distance to USS Midway, restaurants, etc. We had a rental car with rented car seats to get where we needed to go. I preferred the beach at...

Do you leave any items in a stroller?

We leave some things in the stroller. Diapers, wipes, sweatshirts, etc. We take the valuable stuff with us and we typically don’t buy souvenirs until on our way out.

    Romantic WDW Dinner/Experience

Narcoossee's is quieter than CG and if you hit it during fireworks it's extra romantic. I think it's more romantic than other signature restaurants we've been to (Yachtsman, California Grill, Jiko, etc)

Boardwalk Villas pool vs Stormalong bay

I was wrong, you can pay with a CC it just depends on how you do it. Ignore me :) lol

Boardwalk Villas pool vs Stormalong bay

Boardwalk Villas will be tough to get, is it available during your dates? I would start there before spending too much time looking into it. Also I'm not sure how you use a visa to pay for rented points unless it's tied to Paypal in which case you have fees (?).

Pop vs Dolphin, I keep changing my mind!

You will love the Dolphin. It's awesome and I would always pick that over Pop if the price was similar. Are you accounting for the resort fees? I'd still pick Dolphin but make sure you are aware of those, they are significant.

I would have voted Contemporary , nice choice

Case of Water for 3 ppl- 5 Days- Worth getting it?

It's very easy to get free cups of water in the parks. The issue we have is that the water at WDW tastes pretty gross to us. So we buy bottled water and bring it in. We have to use bottled water for coffee too.
