We are booked on the Norway cruise at the end of May and I'm planning on surprising my 7 yr old daughter at Christmas with a 'pass the parcel' type gift - wrapped paper layers with a clue on the outside of each layer. So far I have though of 'It'll be June but where we are going will be 'cold...
After much 'umming' and 'ahhhing' i've booked us on this cruise. I was so pleased it fell within the UK school holiday week but the intial price put me off. This will be our second cruise - First was 10 day Med in 2011 where we met 'Amyren'. We recently waved her and family off onto the Magic in...
Hi Tubbsteruk
Hope you don't mind me asking but who did you book through? We are planning on taking this cruise (time booked off work) but don't want to book it until January time unless a really good price comes up (I remember Jan 2011 the price of this cruise for the May 2011 was about £800...
It depends how cheap you want to do it...
We went this October for a week (monday to monday) 2 adults and 3 year old and it cost under £1000 including spending money, we also spent 2 days in paris.
Brought annual passes from CE multivantages website for £200 for 2 adults and got 2 child...
I don't think i've posted on here since my June Med cruise but saw this post and wanted to re-live the best memory of our cruise.
My daughter (age 3) was sick at the end of the Twice Encharmed show on our second day:sick:. She is never ever sick so I was extremly worried. The staff were...
Just back and ready to plan next trip! Will only go out of school holiday times during the week and looking for April/May/June/July time.
Can anyone advise of the quieter/cheaper periods and of the school holidays in France.
And if anyone knows.. do you know if they do anything special...
4.99 Euros for a packet of crisps in the Disney shop... I couldn't believe it!!!!
It is possible to do on a budget... but only if you go self catering!
We have just returned...
There is a meet and greet with Rapunzel and Flynn every day (1.30 and 2.30 on the current schedule).
Disappointed by the princess pavilion, queue was about 45 minutes in the weekdays before the half term and 75 minutes in the half term. There are 2 princess areas...
On this week's park schedule is a meet with Lady Tremaine, Drizilla and Anastasia... My daughter would LOVE this! But we are going on 16th so this will be next weeks schedule. How likely is it to change?!!!
We are coming to DLP 17th 24th October with 2/3 days spent in Paris. :cool1: I am trying to plan our trip and wondering if we would be missing anything on the Saturday or sunday if we spent those days in Paris. Are there any special shows etc for those days where the park then stays open later...
I know this might sound silly but ...
If I pre book and we park 0530 monday morning and arrive back at the car 2100 the following monday.. does that count as a 7 day permit or 8 days parking??!!! Don't want to purchase 7 day permit and find we get fined when we arrive back or something :)
The free shuttle bus that operates between the Adagio apartments, hotel L'Elysee and disneyland, is it accessible to anyone not staying at either of those 2 properties?
If so can you also tell me where I would find it on coming out of the train station at Disney after we arrive by Eurostar...
That's really helpful, thanks for posting back.
We are going on a monday morning and i'd been considering pre booking. Can I ask how much the car park was as I think there are 4 there? how long is the process of getting ticket, walking to station etc.
Thanks
Thanks Carrie Cat.
I have become comfortable now with the amount of time we will have at DLP!
I did mean the Paris Visite but thanks, i'll stick to 2 one day mobilis passes
Our plans in Paris are orientated around our 3 year old. Obviously the eiffel tower but will never be able to get...
I had considered this but dismissed it thinking that Disney must seem far more crowded than Paris would at the weekend :). The weekend will be the start of the French and UK half term holiday so expect it will be more busy than usual?
Also if I purchased the train tickets (not sure of the...
Thanks. Good to know that 4.5 days wasn't too much!
Had looked at the aquarium but it seemed a very expensive way to pass a few hours.
The whole reason we picked a self catering apartment instead of staying at disney was to save the money on food!
I thought this was the case. I looked at the aquaboulevard but it will be about £50 for the 3 of us which is extortionate!
We are staying self catering in apartment near Val d'Europe.. couldn't afford Disney hotel for a week!!!!
