We stayed local to Baby Beach in Aruba 2 years ago. I'm not sure how far it is from the port - maybe a 20 minute ride. They do have chairs and tiki huts for rent, and a couple of decent restaurants on site. Also the water is gorgeous and very calm.

There is a month long gap (that I can find) between the September 1 2024 sailing of the Dream, and the October Dream transatlantic cruise. Would that be a time for dry dock, refurb?

We stayed on Deck 8 way back in 1999, and the only issue we had was being able to hear folks move the deck chairs on Deck 9 in the early morning.

Palo dinner is nice, but IMO, the brunch is just *fabulous*. So many cool delights and many things to please every palate.

I agree with your concerns about Tiana's. We are just off the Wonder and we had Tiana's for 3 evenings. We chose to skip one. IMO, that dining room has *always* been so loud it's difficult to carry on a conversation, even when it was Parrot Cay.

Last week's cruise, the Pirate Show started about 9:50, with fireworks around 10:30 pm

I looked for Mladen in Palo this cruise and didn't see him. He was our server in the MDR way back in either 2003 or 2005!
