    Really happy with Saratoga Springs

Hello, Yes we did, actually at check in when I found out I was in the back of Grandstand. We asked for Grandstand near pool, this is the first time we didn't get our full request, so that was a shocker. Now I realize room request are not guaranteed, so everyone please don't slam. But when...

    Really happy with Saratoga Springs

I've had many great trips there, again I was a little surprised, they did get everything fixed. When I inquired about a move, they were full no rooms, plus I didn't push it. The other thing that bothered me was the guy at the pool who said he got 3 2bedroom villas (cash ressies) for his...

Yes or no, extra magic hours MK in Aug???

EMH is great, we do it all the time we go in MK. We get practically everything done by 11 and then we leave or stay for lunch and leave for resort and swimming. Every ride is practically walk on. Please do this, it's the best way to visit MK. Get in early and leave, as a point of reference...

Going for a 3-day weekend in Sept -- any chance that won't cost me a fortune?

I believe free dining goes from 9/2 to 9/25, so if you go those dates you can get free food at least. Check the free dining for the kind you get based on your choice of resort. RayJay

Best location with small kids at Saratoga Springs?

Why we like Grandstand 1. First on bus, first off bus 2. Close to Pro shop 3. Close to store 4. Close to main pool 5. Great grandstand pool. 6. Closet to DTD boat. If you want DTD view, then Congress park best bet, little bit longer walk to main pool and 4th bus stop, if that is...

Making sense out of insanity (DVC purchase)

Well, I don't remember the year, but if someone can tell the date that BCV opened, I was there for opening day, I remember because there was no big fanfare, and we got a free week at Beach Club as incentive. We paid around 72, it may have been 70. I don't remember exactly cause we sold it :(...

Making sense out of insanity (DVC purchase)

I agree with your thoughts, in fact when I first bought many years ago I did go thru Disney, and I thought I was well informed, I was really not as informed as I thought or just afraid a resale might be different. It wasn't until many years later when I bought back in the light bulb went...

Disney's Art of Animation Resort Info Thread! Mouseketeers welcome!

Adam, No way that was a queen bed, If it was a full then I'm surprised. I am a 200 pound man, wife is 120, so I don't think we are that big, and it was rough for both of us. Now, I will say, we are use to a King, so this may have threw us off. RayJay
