That's a big bummer. That 3/4 day Florida Resident ticket special is great for budget planning. It is going to cost my family of 5 a lot more for next year's trip.

These are good tips! We are getting a tent to "practice" with this fall for our family of 5. I would love to tent tamp at Fort Wilderness for our next Disney trip (Nov 2013). :)

This is a good idea. My kids will be a almost 8, 5, and 2. I'll bring a stroller for the 2 year old and the older kids will walk. If they need a break, we can sit and watch a show or get a treat.

Great ideas! We'll be staying at a condo most likely so breakfast there and packing a lunch will reduce the eat out cost when we go back.

We just recently took our kids ages 5 and 2 to their first trip to Disney. They LOVED it and all though we only stayed 5 hours in the park and rode 5 rides plus had Cinderella's Royal Table character breakfast it was worth the money we spent for those 2 short days. When I have extra funds to get another camera body, I'll be looking at a gently used. I currently have a Nikon D50, but really want a camera with more megapixels and faster speeds. I am even considering buy gently used lenses as well. Good luck in your search!

I'm wondering how do you hold you bag while you are on the ride? Especially a fast ride? My family and I rode slow rides and my dh and I took turns with my D50 to get shots of us with my 50mm. My 18-55mm is not working right so I only had that lens to work with. But next time we'll all ride some...

When we went to CRT, we parked our stroller in stroller parking. It was nice not to have one less to worry about when going inside for our breakfast meal.

We recently had breakfast there and it was fantastic! My dd (5) enjoyed the experience so much and my ds (2) had a good time too. My dh thought the food tasted great and felt it was worth the money we spent. We are doing breakfast at Chef Mickey's the next time we go for ds. :goodvibes
