Harry Potter the Forbidden Journey Question

Personally I've decided that for purposes of my fanfiction that the setting of the Forbidden Journey is sometime after or during Goblet of Fire but before Order of the Phoenix judging from the elements seen in the ride. I will attempt to integrate elements from the other three books as well as...

Harry Potter the Forbidden Journey Question

Same thing here. I'm only 2/3 of the way into Prisoner of Azkaban myself in terms of reading but I've seen all the movies up to Order of the Pheonix. So I've had massive spoilers since I got into the series in December of last year. I'm looking forward to Part I of Deathly Hallows being put...

Harry Potter the Forbidden Journey Question

I did enjoy the experience when I rode Forbidden Journey and in fact the whole WWoHP attraction when I visited IOA during the Christmas Holidays. It in fact launched my interest in the entire series and inspired a fanfiction saga I'm working on - which is why I started this thread to begin with.

Harry Potter the Forbidden Journey Question

Nothing wrong with that. I figured it was books/movies 1-4 possibly with elements of 5 and 6 thrown in for good measure. Thank you all for the insights you've all provided on this thread. It's given me great insight as to my future fanfic...

Harry Potter the Forbidden Journey Question

Question for all the Harry Potter fans on this board. In terms of setting after or during what book do you think that Forbidden Journey was set in? I would guess that it was around the time of Goblet of Fire and definitely before Half Blood Prince due to the fact that Dumbledore is still alive...

Writers and Bloggers of the Forum

Oh really? What's the novel about? I wonder how it's possible to write such a thing without a main character or set of main characters? I'm not trying to be jerk I'm just curious about how others write. When I write I usually have one or more key characters to build the plot around...

    Kingdom Hearts Villains

I know that there Disney villains that have yet to be featured in any Kingdom Hearts game. I am curious exactly which ones people think would be perfect candidates to appear in future games. Personally my two votes would be Syndrome and Claude Frollo. 1) Syndrome: He's got the super...

Newbie to the whole Universal thing

Flight of the Hippogriff (tame coaster formerly known as Flight of the Unicorn) and Dragon Challenge (formerly Dueling Dragons and very intense floorless dueling coaster) - Those are the other attractions at Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Newbie to the whole Universal thing

How long of a vacation is it and how many days do you want to devote to the Universal Studios IOA thing. Perhaps one day just for WWOHP and a second for the rest of IOA might be feasible if it's a long vacation.

    Syndrome as a Villain

One of my fanfiction projects which is an Incredibles/Kingdom Hearts Crossover involves Syndrome having survived the end of the movie and becoming a facist-esque dictator of Metroville. I happen to find Syndrome a very effective villain because of his utter lack of regard for human life...

    Favorite USF/IOA Attractions

There I'll agree with you. That is sad that this attraction is going bye-bye, it would be cool if they revamped it to include elements from either T3 or the Sarah Connor Chronicles - so says the Terminator fan in me.

    Favorite EPCOT Attractions Thread

I've been a fan of the park since I first visited the attraction in 1989. I've since had three school field trips in the 1990s and a couple visits as an adult to EPCOT and over the years have really enjoyed the place. I wonder what everyone's favorite EPCOT attractions are. My own favorites...

    CrossFit Gyms

Yes there is truth to that. A level 1 Certification is all one needs to run an affiliate for CrossFit. Some 'boxes' (as CrossFit gyms are called) have different philosophies on different things, but most offer free introductory lessons so one can get a vibe or feel for their particular program.
